Yes!! Yes I agree with both of these points. Again they bounced off each other so so naturally. It was very pleasant to watch.

That was funny! i like PJ's editing, he's doing the gif makers a favor quoting Phil on screen. And it was nice that they didn't hold back.

Where was this PJ during the Truth Bombs video? Honestly I enjoyed this collab more than any of the gamingmas videos so far (which is saying a lot, because I've liked most of them!), is that blasphemy? I think if they ever have guests on dapg again, they need to not sit next to each other, otherwise they're too dominating a presence. I mean obviously PJ would feel more comfortable being more in control on his own channel, but this flowed so much better than the other collab because PJ was able to get words in edgewise and actually have a personality. Also: it was hilarious. Why did those cards have such a focus on butts and lubed up tentacles. Time-stampers, come through. These three playing card games is apparently all I need. And Phil's face at Dan saying his scenario: yes. The whole video: yes. YES.

I think when this was previously discussed people mentioned Phil would have been quite young then and his views could have changed if he did ever vote conservative. I personally doubt it. I'm generalising a lot but the north generally don't vote conservative. That has changed recently as brexit has come into play. Also apart from that one mention has there been anything that has ever indicated that he has? Nothing of his behaviour or his past posts/videos has given me any indication that he has voted conservative.

Yesterday’s geometry game was decent. Simple platforming, so not much special there, but it’s classic and familiar and leaves room for more natural interaction. I always love them teasing and trying to distract each other (even when Dan gets carried away with his “oh dear”s) so that’s a win. Not a fan of the shaved sides. Phil’s hair cut makes him look way less delicate. But of course it will grow out.

Looking forward to the gaming ls and the return of cheese!Dan.

Thoroughly enjoyed PJ’s video. It was better quality visually (nice lighting, only focused on three people so when you crop in on someone it doesn’t look as shit [yeah I know Truth Bombs had to be four people] and just smoother editing, but hey he’s a film maker). The way he colored the Twitter pic is really pretty and reminds me of what some gif makers did with the Wirrow painting’s colors in the first Truth Bombs vid and Louise’s collab. Sorry, I’m a sucker for aesthetics.

PJ’s vid also just flowed better than Truth Bombs. There was less awkwardness and the only real tangents were pigeon mating and snacking, which was funny. Lots of lol moments, I had to pause a couple times because I was gasping with laughter. The only fault I find is with the title of the game. Dan and Phil already are the ultimate companions. I’ll show myself out.

Maybe the reason PJ was more involved in this video is that he actually sat in the middle. I already thought this after the Truth Bombs video, but maybe they should let the guest stars sit in the middle. But for them to sit apart, I don't know, the universe might rip in half...

I liked the video, i really like pj's videos in general too. For some reason I wasn't at all surprised of how Dan's scenario was a sexy one, haha. But my ears also perked (a weord thing to say what even) as pj was rambling about penpals and moving in together and phil suggesting a non-gender specific character for dan. I think pj changed the pronouns from she to they for Dan's steamy companion after phil used "they", or i heard wrong idk. It was so good tho, i really like kickthephan collabs.

I don't know, I didn't really get that vibe from the video. "nice, peaceful guy" and its opposite don't really seem to necessarily mean kind conservative and angry liberal. If anything, I'd think it'd be the other way around. I live in a very liberal place surrounded by a large conservative area, and the perspective I've generally seen (maybe this is just an american thing, and british ideas are swapped) is angry conservative who wants to shoot stuff and calm bernie-voting liberal.
Plus, the only thing I've really heard about Phil's political views is the obvious stuff like that gay marriage is good and he would consider himself a feminist, and I take anything charlie says with a grain of salt.

I mean, he was leading the game and it was on his channel. I think we’ve witnessed before that whoever is “hosting” the collab (not physical location, but channel wise) is usually more “on” persona wise. So you get a more gregarious D&P front and center in their gaming channel collab because they are basically triple hosts: their channel, their apartment, their game that they literally created with D&P themed questions this time. And while I think they were still at a good energy level and very engaged, they weren’t over shadowing PJ as much in this one. It was a good balance.

I really enjoyed the new video with PJ, for some reason the dynamics between them three in PJ's collabs is always special. I also really like and rewatch Snake Oil and Would You Rather videos, which both have very similar concepts. Like, they don't do much, just invent some raNDoM scenarios and react to them, exposing each other (but not really), seem very ironic and put on their "polite" act around each other, but somehow it works really well.

For the lols, did anyone think Phil's mysterious character was named X because it also sounds like ex, 'cause, full offence on Phil's part at Dan's scenario.

PJ enhances the colors in his videos really nicely, I wish D&P took some pointers. But i think the fish painting was made by Bryony.

This was actually super interesting to me, I'm always super curious re: how YouTube treats Deppy. Her whole vid was interesting as a behind-the-YouTube-scenes, actually, even though I found a lot of her complaints silly (although understandable).

Of course, I can see why Deppy had a specially scheduled filming time seeing as they were only in shots together and not in any group activities that were being filmed the rest of the day so there's literally no reason for them to be present at the same time as everyone else, but I guess my question is why they weren't in any group shots. I get that YT wanted them to have a lot of screentime, but is there some reason I'm missing for them having to be alone the entire time? YT could have probably had other UK creators somewhere in a Deppy-centric shot, which would have made people happy since there was so many complaints last year from disappointed creators about lack of screentime. And YT could have kept the solo Deppy lava shot if YT was so intent on giving them solo time.

It's just that, Dan and Phil have not been in any group shots for the last three years, and I don't know if YT has a specific reason for that or what. I get that YT would want to showcase them since they have some of the most active fans on the platform, but that doesn't mean they can't just be front-and-center in a clip with other people, does it?

also I think it's funny how the director had literal, written instructions saying that Dan and Phil had to have a "gif-able" moment YouTube sure knows how to pander.

I love them, but I wish they would let us know. Surely it can't be hard to pinpoint when they will have time. I've been sat here for like 3 hours waiting for an announcement.

Anyway, since I'm already posting... Loved yesterday's video, loved the collab with PJ. I was surprised by Dan's choice of a scenario and enjoyed the responses from PJ and Phil. I assume that what they played is an actual game? I've never seen it before.
