I've seen a few people wondering about Phan vs Phandom, phanfic etc and in my mind, Phan is the ship name and concept as well as a name for the two of them merged together (which I never liked, but love calling them Deppy ). Phan is charged with meaning the ship, but everything else is a convenient and cute word to define them and set them apart from other fandoms. So Phandom wristbands and everything are fine by them cos they're cute without inherently invoking shipping. Though maybe Tinder spon points to him testing the waters for more mature content, still the content was cute, provided by his teen self. Dan, despite not seeming to be sure of himself, is still doing his storytime and sketch type of videos that he's great at. Also both of them are still at home making it all themselves. It's not just this gaming vid, on several other occasions he had..interesting..reactions to pregnancy also the comment about Phil ending up with an unhealthy inflation kink (in some gaming vid I don't remember which one).

I'm so glad Jacksepticeye has publicly said something. I'm hard of hearing and seeing the junky captions on youtube makes my eyes bleed. It's also annoying with someone censors the word on the CC but it isn't censored in the video. It just makes it that much harder to understand what's happening. Ugh that must be really frustrating. I understand if people want to add fan commentary but CC's are there for a utilitarian reason. I have no hearing problems so it is rare I use captions (I've only used them with one person who I now cannot stand but thats waaaaaay off topic), but I'm guessing it's the equivalent of having random parts of the audio dropping out?
