Oh yay! Good question! I'm going to also mention ones I like.

I love their collabs with Tyler Oakley. I think he works a bit better off of Dan (bringing out a delicious side of him), but I love Miracle Berry Challenge.

Collabs with Louise are mostly good (the husband can't stand her). I prefer 'Our Awkward Fancy Meal' and 'Obama Llama' over the other two.

It took me a long time to watch the Nerdie Nummies collab. I had unreasonable jealousy about Dan and Phil baking with a girl, but I enjoyed it.

I like Phil's collabs with Hazel (guessing the states much more than tipsy talk) and Carrie (singing, but oh my goodness I didn't know about her 12 days of Christmas!) and Kylie Minogue (honestly anything where they have to learn a specific slang/jargon/colloquialisms is great).
I think I prefer Phil's interactions with girls more, though he's good with PJ.

Ones with PJ and Crabstickz are generally enjoyable. Sculpting with Charlie was weird.

I have mixed feelings on Cat (don't get me started on the title of their collabs). I hate the first one, but I liked the headphones, the make-up one is hilarious and the ink blot one is fascinating.

The ones with Connor did feel awkward. I'm sorry that I find Caspar annoying. And the ones with other guys are pretty forgettable (though there may be a couple I haven't watched).

Sexually frustrated Dan with the twins, yes that was amusing.

And we all know the deal with Shawna.

The Tyler/Dan collabs are definitely my favorite. I think Dan and Louise have good chemistry, too, but I can't rewatch some of theirs just because the secondhand embarrassment factor from what they're describing is too strong. I also lathe prank calls so it kills me that the only time we have ever heard Dan's mother speak it was in that prank call video.

I don't love Cat, but there's an interesting dynamic in her videos with both of them. The ink blot test one is great for seeing how Dan and Phil see each other, and I'm still fascinated by Dan in the speech jammer one, and the way when Dan tells Phil to stop teasing him Phil automatically does. So I guess I don't appreciate those for Cat's participation but for her concepts.

Most of their other collabs are just a pass for me. The ones with PJ are okay, but I'm still not blown away. Dan overcompensates for nerves by being too loud in a lot of collabs in general, too on-brand in a way that isn't usually that hyperfocused. I understand it, and I don't hold it against him, but I also don't want to watch it.

Oh that's an interesting question.

- I really like Dan's collabs with Tyler and could go for another (Cards Against Humanity Part 2 plz), but Phil's collabs with him felt a bit awkward to me.
- Dan and Louise are hilarious together, I've lost count on how many times I have rewatched her waxing Dan's legs. I think her and Phil make a nice collab pair too, just.. without Dan because when he's there him and Louise tend to overpower the whole thing. I dislike the Not Worth Watching video for that reason, but Obama Llama was better because Phil was more in control of the video.
- The collab with Joe Sugg is the Whisper challenge one that also stars Louise isnt it? I enjoyed that one.
- I like their collabs with Carrie (well minus Men vs. Woman but that ain't her fault) but I find Carrie to be insufferable these days while she was very likable back then so I wouldn't want another collab.
- I dislike the collabs with Hazel but I dislike Hazel in general so I'm not exactly being fair here (I don't think those videos could've been saved either way though).
- I don't enjoy the videos with Caspar. The one with Dan wasn't good, but the one with Phil was so awkward and just.. terrible.
- Watching paint dry is more interesting than Jim Chapman and even D&P can't save it so pass.
- I like the collabs with PJ but at the same time I remember being disappointing with them and I don't really rewatch them.
- Chris and Dan's How To Speak Northern is great and I still rewatch regularly.
- Also the Fantastic Foursome Twister video is a glorious mess and I still love to this day.
- Rosanna Pansino makes my neck hairs stand up because of the cutesy act so no more of that please.
- Alfie is Part 2 of the I'd Rather Watch Paint Dry experience. Bland ass content no matter how much I love D&P.
- I've mentioned on here before that I'm very anti Felix because fuck him so no more collabs with him please and thank you.
- Bryony's video with D&P is glorious. Another regular rewatch. It probably helps that I know they're actually friends and not just playing it up for the camera.
- The SAP video with Grace Helbig as guest was awkward but Grace's humor isn't my thing so that's probably it.
- I adore Charlie but his collab with D&P wasn't great. Charlie isn't great at collabs in general tho, bless him.
- The AmazingCatIsNotOnFire series is ok. Nothing exciting, but nothing about Cat is. If they come on my path during random rewatches I won't skip them.
- Jack & Dean are insufferable pretentious twats but I must say that Doubles is a good sketch. It also gave us that liveshow where D&P avoid all their guests in the flat by sitting on the kitchen floor for Phil's liveshow and complaining about how long the filming is taking
- How To Speak Lad with Connor is bloody awful.
- I love the stuff they've done with TomSka.
- Ashens.. meh. I enjoyed the Sofa thing but it also wasn't memorable enough to make me want to watch it again. I like Ashens though.
- The collab with Strawburry17 was unmemorable.
- Remember when everyone thought JacksGap were gonna be the next big thing in Brit YouTube land and then they disappeared? I liked their collabs with Dan, but I'm not about to pretend that 70% of my enjoyment didn't come from me being thirsty.
- I'm ignoring the existence of Alex Day.
- Shawna is a terrible person and I haven't watched a second of her collabs with Phil.

..I don't like a lot of YouTubers. (And if I do I'll read their GG threads and that takes care of it lmao)

I really really really want another collab with Sorted Food. I know they've done something together before (I wouldn't call it a collab necessarily but still), but I need the Sorted boys to lure D&P to the studio with food and trap them there for a video. PLEASE.

But something about it strikes me as super awkward? Idk, I don't think Emma, Dan, and Phil work? I think Ashens, Dan, and Phil work better (as seen in Who Stole My Sofa?) - so maybe I'd have liked it more if Emma had been the one playing?
I remember that! That was the most awkward shit I've ever seen. Make a try not to cringe video out of that. Does anyone else know if it was filmed before or after the Twitter drama? Even it happened before, it's still awkward, but if it was after then... Yikes. On it's own it's still bad, but the people participating makes it even worse.

I don't actually mind Dan's with Alex besides the abuse stuff obviously. Same thing with Phil's collab. I liked Phil's collab with Carrie.

I have no interest in charlieissocoollike and their collab was really boring, so I didn't watch it all the way through.

I've watch the Fantastic Foursome collabs and they're okay, nothing stands out to me.

I've watched the Bucket of Doom collab with Cat and it was okay. Not gonna watch AmazingCatIsNotOnFire videos though.

I liked their collabs with Tyler especially Phil's. Didn't Tyler say something about just learning something about Phil in one of their collabs and he never said what he learned about him?

The Louise collabs are pretty funny.

The collab with Shawna was just kind of bad by default, so I don't blame Phil.

I liked the Hazel collab, but after I learned more about her, definitely not gonna rewatch it.

I don't remember/care for any collabs I didn't mention.

I really like it when Phil collabs with that danisnotonfire guy. He does it a lot, but it turns out pretty good every time, so I always look forward to it.

Other than that, I'm always a fan of Dan with Tyler and Phil with PJ. Agreed with alittledizzy, in that Cat offers great collab topics, but her own presence there is not my favorite thing.

Definitely also a big fan of any time the 2 of them are in a room with Tom.

ETA: I also love Hazel, but I find that her collabs with Phil are a little forced more as a result of Phil than of Hazel. I need them to do a Tipsy Talk 2.0 with Phil already a drink or 2 in.

I think I haven't watched some of the older collabs, but from those I've seen I enjoyed the Dan & Tyler ones; like me some dirty humour. Though I recently watched Obama Llama for the first time and actually lol'd at it; idk why I always avoided that one.

Also can you tell exam period is over cause I just used two semicolons wow phil i hope youre proud of me

That was the one in the castle for Geek Week right? I couldn't watch that after just a couple of minutes. I much preferred the quiz show Crabstickz hosted (even if Dan and Phil were the weakest members of their teams, we still got 2022 out of it). Of larger collabs (which I tend not to think of as collabs), Sofa was alright, Doubles was amusing, but Rejects was the best imo. Still bummed about the sequel.

I've never watched Alex Day, I only heard about him via similar scandals in the Wizard Rock community. And I don't give a rats behind about PewDiePie.

Lol rizzo! Fave collabs just between Dan & Phil next if we're still in a lull?

one of my most watched videos is "our awkward fancy meal" with dan and louise. i find they have really fun chemistry that never feels fake or forced. and how they recount their experience feels a lot how my friends and i are. so i relate to it a lot. i also like that it's so long. but really any collab dan does with louise is a favorite of mine.

i also like the collabs dan and phil have done with tyler. but my faves collabs with always be the ones dnp do with each other because their chemistry is unmatched

When I first got into the phandom in early 2016, I had a lot of trouble watching Dan and Phil collabs, except for the early pinofs/AmazingDan. But I loved Dan's collabs with almost anyone else. He can be very very funny with other people in a way that never happens with Phil (he has a different dynamic with Phil , which I can appreciate much better in the Post-Baking Universe).

Dan's collabs with Tyler are guaranteed to make me laugh. I watch all four of them often.

Dan's collabs with Tomska similarly. Yeah, there are two, if you count the outtakes on Tom's side channel DarkSquidge--you can see how much trouble they had getting a slice of ham to land on Dan's face, among other very funny moments.

I don't think anyone's mentioned Dan's collab with Bertie Gilbert in 2013, "A Chat with Dan Howell", which had been reuploaded to YouTube for a while last year. I found that funny (despite some problematic Nazi humor), and I believe Dan's appearance in this video is the reason I requested fainting emoji here .

I'm replying to my own question lmao, but I like their videos with Louise - bar the Not Worth Watching because Phil being interrupted makes me want to stab someone it's so frustrating, but theres a hilarious bit which goes:

Dan: Earlier we taught Louise what a furry is

Louise: Don't google it

Phil, playing with the dog: You can google it

Dan: I've slowly been trying to tell the internet that I'm a furry for a while now with little hints.

Phil nodding along seriously, still playing with the dog

It just always makes me laugh because Phil's replying so casually and seems so cool with everything being said but is still playing with their toy dogs - amazing.

Cat - don't like after everything I've heard about her, but her videos with Dan and Phil are good for the most part. The only one I never re-watch is the inkblot test because they're just generic statements and that kind of fake psychology annoys me a bit.

I like their youtuber whispers with Joe, vv good.

Sometimes re-watch the Casper vids, moreso the ones with Dan but still rarely then.

Find the How to Speak Lad boring, but I like the quiz show thing.

Pretty unpopular but I don't really favour their vids with Tyler oops. The porn one is iconic obvs, and I really like the miracle berry taste test challenge but the others I'm just I tend to feel cards against humanity is only funny when you're playing it though, watching others play that game is never as hilarious.

Jim's vid... nah. Just a tad boring imo.

Stawburrys one never stuck with me but she seemed nice.

Not really sure what the drama behind Hazel is (feel free to tell me anyone) but I quite like her vids with Phil. I frequently re-watch their Christmas Quiz all year round!

Carrie's collabs were nice, but the only one I frequently revisit is the singing one with Phil rather than her Christmas ones.

Alex, tbh I never really liked him before the whole thing. I really tried to get into Chamelon Circuit but just never really embraced it. The only song I did like was Good Morning Sunshine, and that was lowkey influenced by Chris's presence.

Vids with PJ are cute because they're quite close irl. Loved How to Speak Northern and the twister mat with Chris as well!

Don't really like Knightmare, like the quiz a fair bit.

Like their vids with Pewds and Marzia but don't re-watch frequently. Pewds's editing in his one always makes me crack up, but the summer sports is so great with them rooting for Phil lmao, I felt at kin.

Doubles < Rejects. I just prefer the humour of rejects. Still like Doubles though.

Also, just so y'all know I'm creating a message in my notes with all the questions I wanna pester you with when we have some silent periods (really glad people enjoyed the topic though! )

People mostly don't like her because she puts her content on a pedestal. She acts like her content is somehow better and is true quality. So basically she's quite pretentious. She also got salty at Emma Blackery because Emma tweeted about how her hamster and a celebrity she liked died on the same day. Hazel was tweeting her stuff talking about how a hamster's life isn't comparable to a human's because apparently Emma wasn't allowed to be sad about her hamster dying.

I have a hard time with Bertie's "chat", it's soo uncomfortable, which I know is the point, but damn. And I feel weird when I see clips used in phan edits. I guess it's just not my kind of humor.

How did I miss Phil saying "you can google it" and nodding along?!?! I guess Dan and Louise really do draw your attention away. Will have to do a full rewatch focused entirely on Phil. I do like how Louise looks over at Phil when Dan sticks his fist in his mouth (I can do that too).

I posted a D&P Q&A on Tumblr earlier this week that is stupidly long. I was thinking about posting it as an off topic thread, but I like having little one at a time discussions here. Still if you want to check it out, here's a link:

My husband actually can't stand PINOF, whereas my son loves them. I've been tempted to make an edit that might appeal to both of them and that removes some of the parts I find cringey ("Oh, Miley"). But I do not remotely have the skills. My level is still images and music. (Plus messing with Phil's editing is probably sacrilege.)

I will answer my own question though. Fave D&P collabs not counting PINOFs (I rank them: 1, 8, 7, 6, 2, 3, 5, 4 btw), DITLs (Festive, Japan, Australia, Manchester, London) and Baking (Halloween in reverse order with a healthy appreciation for Easter) are *Pastel and Punk Edits IRL*. With a special fondness for the StickAid videos (Cat Face Drawing and Bean Boozled) because they are so sweet and blushy. I also recently realized how much I like 'Dan and Phil Anime Cosplay' ( perhaps because of all the hair touching ).

That gaming channel they have together is pretty cool, but I hope they killed their crafts channel for good ;)

The only collab I can think of that I REALLY didn't like was Dan's collab with Connor. I like him as a person but they had no chemistry and it was awkward and boring. I'm also not a fan of the Cat collars because I really don't like her as a person and especially in the vlogs I get the vibe Deppy don't want to be filmed. Also I love Grace but the episode where she's in the super amazing project is really uncomfortable to me for some reason.

I love the collabs with Tyler and Louise and I think they're extremely funny and rewatchable. Everything else probably falls under the meh category for me unless I'm forgetting something.

Also Phil always collabs with this guy named Dan and it's SO awkward. Like it's so clear Dan has a crush on him it's a little pathetic at this point. ;)

I didn’t like the collabs with Connor either but that’s because of Dan. He’s so nervous and awkward in those, it’s really hard to watch. Also it always struck me as weird because he’s never that bad in any other collabs. My favourite collabs are probably Dan’s collabs with Tyler or Louise because he seems quite relaxed around those two and you can tell he genuinely likes them. I don’t think there’s a Phil collab I don’t like, except for those with Shawna, which I haven’t watched. He’s usually pretty great around other Youtubers. I really liked the ones with Hazel and the ones with PJ (which reminds me I should give them a rewatch...)

This is a very interesting topic. I haven't seen many of the collabs in a while, though I watched the How to Speak Lad one with Connor recently and it was good, they got on pretty well. Dan was so cute, young and pretty in that

I like nearly all of them really.

Louise and Dan are always hilarious, even with Phil getting left behind I love all of those and the ones with just Louise and Dan are amazing. The awkward moments, the fancy meal, the bit in the taxi on the way to the One Direction concert where she calls Dan her favourite while stroking his face (guess he was bit old for her to adopt, but my thoughts were there).

I love Phil and PJ together, so quirky and creative. Discovering PJ was a revelation to me with his characters and the way he makes different types of films and animations.

Phil and Jim Chapman are adorable together, sweetpocalypse to Phil and PJ's quirkpocalypse.

Carrie is sweet so I like those. I'd love Phil to sing more in his baritone and duet with Dan both in their usual ranges and Dan in his falsetto, so if Carrie would like to teach more, I'd be very happy. MusicalBethan in a liveshow (the one where everyone was filming in the flat?) teaching Phil the cup song, or trying to, and Phil throwing the cups cos he couldn't do it... that was funny, but I was a bit annoyed at Phil having a strop. He might have got it with more practise.

Jacksgap's video with Dan was how I discovered him since I used to watch them and those collabs are pretty funny, though I always find it strange how different Dan looks. He said he'd been to a different hairdresser just that one time.

Dan's collab with Chris is good, always good to teach Dan and the rest of us some more Northern words. I love Chris, his run of YouNows a few months ago was really good.

The Foursome videos are great. It was ages before I found the Twister one so that was a brilliant treat. I loved someone's comment that it was like "The Brotherhood of the Black Skinny Jeans" and Chris saying "I'm getting a lot of butts" from the angle he was at. And how he was the only one not to flash his pants (not that I was looking, of course).

I still quite like PewDiePie so I liked those, the ones with Marzia too were the best, they all bounced off each other pretty well and it's sweet how Dan seems worried he's been too obnoxious after he teases Felix for losing one of the games.

The YouTuber Whispers one is a classic and I like the others with Caspar and Phil, but they're not my favourites. I kept noticing the age gap and their styles didn't seem to match very well, but they got on fine as two guys, if that makes sense. Just hanging out on Phil's bed eating cereal and all.

Tyler's are some of the best especially with Dan, so cute to see Dan ramp himself up and the pair of them together are so naughty and funny.

I'm not Hazel's biggest fan, but hers with Phil are good, they seem to get on well and I love him making the drink all prepared and her quip about his bar full of underage girls.

I like Charlie and don't remember that one being awkward, if I had noticed I'd have just assumed they're all a bit awkward so whatevs. They made a multicoloured plasticine animal, it was cute.

Strawburry17 was funny, Phil plus weird little toy plus powder and water to make a food is always funny and she's cute.

I like Jack a little and have a soft spot for Dean, and their collabs are hilarious. Doubles is wonderful and I loved Phil's East London gangster turn as the voice of jam. Amazing how unrecognisable he is sometimes.

Rejects is great, Tom has a great deadpan. I like most of his stuff, though I wouldn't normally go in for such violent humour. His video with Chris in a bar, Literal Drinks, and things like the pilot of the series in the BDSM shop are pretty funny. Whipped, I think is the name.

I liked Phil's collabs with Shawna despite the opinions, I thought they were cute and the result of Pikachu was hilarious.

I like Rosanna Pansino too, I might have been the only one who did when they collabed, I love baking and the stuff she bakes is amazing, I find her cute. The pair of them with her, and her standing on a box, making drippy purple donuts, it was so cute.

Cat, bless her, she isn't the most engaging, but I've loved all her collabs with them especially the makeup and the ink blots. I go in for that stuff and thought it was scarily accurate. The makeup was just cute for the pair of them "pampering" her and also how they gang up and tease her like brothers in her Disney vlogs about fast rollercoasters (and Phil making her do his ironing, cheeky git).

I don't remember the one with Bryony too well, but I liked it.

The one with Grace was fun, I found it so long ago, I remember it felt quite special for them to have an American YouTuber on that show.

The SortedFood one was funny, they didn't seem to be the most adventurous for food, but then it was snails and frogs.

Leaving the other one off, don't like him.

Oh, I forgot to say I loved their collab with Ro! I don't like her sweet persona but it was a cute video. Especially with Dan and Phil looking like gangly giants next to them (plus Dan and Phil were v funny and slightly awkward in it - a lot of close proxemics as well ;))

Also autumnhearth it's an amazing moment isn't it! A lot of that video was Phil being overshadowed by Dan and Louise's personalities so I focused more on Phil (well, I would've anyway, but I paid close attention) and Phil saying that so genuinely - likely when he felt he wasn't really being listed to - is oddly sweet? Just quite a calm moment. Also the editing of Not Worth Watching (at least, that video) makes every moment seem slightly awkward, and therefore enhances the humour... still don't favour it though, oops.

Hi! I've not posted in a while, but I'm always lurking

Good topic! And I'm interested in autumn-hearth's Q&A blog post , I'll see if I can reply to that later.

There aren't many collabs I don't like (though that danisnotonfire guy talks way too much over poor philly angel bean and is mean to him, he must be protected) but there are some i don't care for.

I'm not a fan of Connor and I didn't like either of the collabs.

Jim's a little dull and I don't really remember the collab but it wasn't bad.

I'm on the fence with Cat (though yep she is boring) but the problem isn't her, it's the constant camera movements and shakiness of her out-and-about vlogs, I can't watch more than 2 minutes without feeling really ill.

Surprisingly I really enjoyed Caspar and Phil together even though I don't watch any of Caspar's solo content. They seem like totally different people and there's that big age gap yet they got on really well and Phil was really playful (and it gave us the Dan-hiding-under-the-bed moment).

I always enjoy Louise/Tyler collabs with Dan.

I liked Knightmare. Sue me.

I can relate. Our apartment is gradually being overtaken by aloe plants that are almost certainly more happier than I am.
