Loved that vid, I couldn't stop smiling the entire time. So fucking married it hurts.

This vid also confirmed my thoughts of Phil starting to rebrand himself a bit. At least in terms of onscreen appearance, his interactions with Dan are a lot less inhibited than before, and he's becoming more outspoken and bold with each passing video. I'm absolutely LOVING it.

Can't wait for more Pokemon go, I hope we don't have to wait too long for it...

This video was filmed a couple weeks ago, and PGO had the delay release in the UK, so he's had far less time to play than the rest of us. I've been playing since the day it was released and play constantly and I'm only at level 19 (halfway to 20).
He's level 20 in the video (And now he's saying he's level 24???). I regularly walk 3-4 miles when I play so...for a guy with a full career, prepping for tour, a supposed fear of society and the outdoors, and pneumonia, his level is suspicious.

Now we know (roughly) how 30 year-old Phil will look like with his fringe (almost) pushed back
Also when they talk about the Pokemon Phil caught on his bed at the start, Dan talks about consent. Do you think this is just him joking or is he subtly mentioning the twerk incident last year with Glozell?

I enjoyed Phil's Pokémon names, he had Pidgeys called Eep and Peep iirc. And a Shellder called Susan9

I loved the Pokémon video!! They were both funny and pretty and I'm lowkey really jealous of the stuff they caught. I loved how they were both acting. I hope we don't have to wait too long until the next video.

Of course I loved the video. They are so married. I love salty!Dan and whiny!Dan.

I just wonder why they went to a park again. Was it because parks are prettier to film and/or have less fan interactions? I'm not sure if it's the same for other countries but here the business districts have the most number of pokestops, gym and pokemon. Every office building has at least 1 pokestop.

I loved the video! I personally liked it more than the first, it felt much more vlog-y to me, especially at the beginning.

At the bench part I was I try my best to not get excited at simple things like that, because it's really nothing to be excited over imo, but sometimes I just let myself rejoice over two grown men sitting close to each other so they can get into frame (Also, what part where Dan yelled at Phil?)

Edit: Also, did anyone else realize that not only did neither of them DAPGO, but there wasn't a link for it in the description either? Not that I'm complaining

Due to his incredulity at Phil choosing to not put any money into the game, I'm gonna guess he bought some lucky eggs to double his XP and then did a few mass evolution sprees. As each evolution is a few hundred XP plus the 2x bonus from the lucky egg, I've personally found it to be the quickest way to level up.

What a great video (aside from the actual cinematography ). The natural lighting (I literally gasped at the scene where Phil was holding the camera and his fringe was pushed back--so beautiful ), the flirting, the cutesy behavior, the opinions. I wish we could get one of these videos everyday. As a very casual Pokémon player myself, I appreciate Phil's game play.

Okay this is the second joke Dan has made about consent in recent videos and it really bothers me. I know it's most likely not his intention to hurt anyone or make a joke out of consent, but it seems to be something he doesn't mind throwing out there in a comical way, and it's really bothering me. The last time this came up it bothered me but I didn't say anything, now though twice in a short period of time...Dan, it's not cool to make a joke out of consent. Consent is a serious thing that a lot of people don't understand and making it a joke is not helping.

Hi guys it's been forever since I've been on here but I miss all you guys and spent 20 min studying all your new avatars

The video was cute. It was a bit boring at times especially when they explained all the teams. Some things I remembered and found funny:

Dan calling Phil stingy: it's been a topic discussed for a while but phil seems to be saving up for something and looking at their recent salary info make me go a little (jk he's saving up to buy a house for him and his sugar baby)

Dan once again teasing phil about opinions. I actually see phil getting better at sharing opinions so lets hope that trend continues!

Certain points in the video they are literally sitting on top of each other and seeing their faces through the reflections of the phone you sometimes see them lean super close. Of course less than 5cm is totally normal #platonic distance

Phil's dainty leg crossing gave me 10 extra years of life. His eyes and 10 second quiff Also his continuous ball jokes and even appreciation for the male butt

The whole video was like two husbands walking through the park. Dans whiny "phil why did you leave me" and Phil's giggle and "sorry" were out of a fucking rom com fight me.

(I told myself by "I'm back" post would be analytical and deep but it's just ...oh well)

Okay, that video was lovely. It was filmed on an iphone though so I don't think there's any excuse for not going for a nice walk someday and supplying us a nice day-in-the-life-australia edition.

I've definitely noticed Dan mentioning consent a lot and I've got to say that I dont think he is joking/ mocking the concept. I think he's actually emphasizing the importance of consent. Idk why he's taken to doing this so much, but I think it's a positive effort rather than negative. Weirdly I find it kind of annoying and cringey and very mom-esque

"I didn't give you consent to touch my joey" and "Squirtle, consent" aren't very serious in my opinion. He's not literally saying "remember kids, consent is important!" He's throwing the word consent around in silly scenarios. I definitely think he's joking around, I don't see either of those uses of the word "consent" to be serious. It's not serious per say but he is emphasizing that consent should be a part of the situation. Idk how else to explain it

I LOVED the video, it was so entertaining, I can tell I'll watch it a million times in the next few days.
They look so good in natural lighting too, kinda of mesmerizing. Couldn't stop staring.
I loved everything but especially the points (that people already pointed out) of Dan being salty, Phil running after the squirrel, the banter between them and 'look at that face'.

You can see that even on the ride to the park, he's got both a Lucky Egg and an Incense activated. So if he's consantly buying those, it's not weird that he'd be level 20, though it still must have taken work.

Other than that, I found the video so delightful that I don't even know how to comment on it. Just. 100/10.
