I'd like to hear from the peeps that still don't believe that they shared that bed (in platonic way or otherwise), assuming there are any left.

I remember there were quite a few back in the rudimentary stages of #busgate.
edit: busgate at the top of the page? disgraceful

As a person who is more entertained by the idea of being devil's advocate than actual shipper or not, I'll bet my left toe that they did share it. If they hiddle each other's fiddles is not my bizniz but I sure as hell like to discuss it anyway.

I'm more interested in breaking apart stereotypes and norms that would seem "normal" for two female friends but taboo for guys. So I come across as anti-phan a lot but tbh I'm more "yeah but what if" for the sake of being that.
That being said, they have dug themselves so deep into the phan hole (phole?) that no matter what they say it'll still be scrutinised. "Yes we shared a bed but it doesn't mean anything because guys can share beds if they want to without it being weird" is true but from Dan it'll sound like he's avoiding the question by deliberately challenging the societal expectations of dudebro behaviour code. If he says nothing at all then clearly he's being silent for a reason to not stir up a shit storm.
Basically Dan is the boy who cried wolf and now no matter what he says he'll still be a liar to some people and a truther to others. Whichever they lean towards can either be delusional fantasy of self-insertion or just their hunch, or they hate phan shippers, or whatever.

I think not sharing the bed would be just silly, all things considered. What level of #nohomo do you have to be to choose to sleep on a tiny uncomfortable bunk over a huge cozy bed that could probably host 3 people, just to prove that you're bros?!

I guess we'll see but even then this particular part could be scripted to hell and back, so who knows.
I'll spice it up with a little bit of negativity: after rewatching the docu trailer I'm more interested in them addressing their first videos together and their first meeting story(?) again. With all those re-branding and "throwing everything into the fire" mentions lately I wonder if there could an official #phandivorced confirmation in the documentary. I know people are hoping for the opposite, but again: who knows.

I don't think I've ever seen a topic split IDB (or the old place) down the middle quite like busgate does. Its quite fascinating seeing us split into a spectrum including but not restricted to:
1) LOVE IT gimme the deets my name is Sherlock
2) pretty interested cos I wanna know how they sleep
3) intrigued more to see how they handle it than care to know actual sleeping arrangements
4) don't see the point cos they've held the same line ('we sleep separately') for years, doesn't mean much anymore
5) don't like it, feels a bit invasive and none of our business
6) its stalking and over-stepping a line
I'd say I fall somewhere between 2 and 3. Mostly just 3 really, but there's always that small niggling phandoubt which pulls me a little into category 2
Edit: oh my two-penneth on the actual answer to all this: regardless of what fairytales they do or do not come up with, if the
truth ain't they shared that bedroom I'll eat my left tit

I think Dan clarified pretty clearly that with the fire comment he meant aesthetic rebranding, not changing up their entire duo-system of handling youtube content.
I also think all the addressing of how they met will be firmly centered around their youtube channels. It won't be "here's how we began" as a personal retelling, it'll be "here's how our channels began, here's how we began on youtube together." I think the clips from pinof and early stuff aren't meant so much for the emotional impact of long term viewers but to give people watching it who have never seen Dan and Phil, or are casual fans not fully aware of the history a reason to immediately care. It/they make a good story, but that doesn't mean much to the casual fan who doesn't know details already - so the documentary will explain it to them.
I don't think this documentary will delve much into anything deep, tbh. It'll be cute, sweet, sentimental, with a Dan and Phil edge of humor and hopefully read as sincere. The more interesting part for dedicated fans will be scrutinizing every frame for details that aren't meant to be the focus.

It's possible that Dan slept on one of the couches in the lounge. In some buses those can even turn into a full bed, don't know if that's the case in their bus though.
That's plausible to me, because i personally don't like sharing a bed, but they don't seem to have issues with personal space, so
... not saying they didn't share the bed, just pointing out the options.
If we actually see Dan in a bunk, i might even believe that, because maybe they had other people there and didn't want to raise suspicions. I can't really imagine it though.
Also, i'd like to know where Drake slept. Isn't he even taller than Dan?
Those trailers destroyed me btw, i can't

I also don't get busgate, fun because they fucked up but no evidence in any direction Still does anyone believe they didn't share that huge bed?
I'm exited to what comes after tatinof and the bts, I think it will be a mix between a ditl and a real documentary, it will be interesting to see them be more profesional and at the same time to see their silly side.
I want them to be more than youtubers, to explore new things, maybe fail maybe succeed but try new things. Now with no radio show what's coming next, a talk show? are they opening a bakery?
I also hope they win that teen awards thing, even if I doubt it, as I'm too
I saw tyler, cat and anthony tweeted them for tatinof yt, did you saw other youtubers?

im still over here feeling kinda irritated that they've not said 'sorry Europe we tried so hard but touring tatinof there just wasn't possible'. At this point I don't think they'll take it there, it's too late now but to just haru it seems kinda rude towards their European fan base. It wouldn't take 5 minutes to put out a video or statement about it.
Please prove me wrong Deps and still be trying for Europe, even if it'll be spoiled we don't mind.

I saw a comment from Louise under one of their videos (maybe it was under both, I only saw a comment once). I forgot which one though, I think it was under the documentary trailer

I think we have to accept that they've ghosted us

I'm not angry about it because I didn't plan on going to the tour anyway, but I understand why other people are, they could at least tweet to confirm that it's not happening. Not nice, guys

The fact that the last we heard about Europe was that it was difficult makes me think they may have something up their sleeves... I hope so, for all you Europeans! Maybe they'll do one final farewell show???

I can finally see the solution of the busgate dilemma here...
didn't share the bed but Phil ended up sharing it with Drake cos it was the only bed in which he could fit, while Dan was segregated into one of the bunks.
That's also the explanation to why Dan was frowning in front of the mirror (he posted that on Twitter if I remember well) cos he was too annoyed of being cramped in that small bed.
The conspiracy theory is strong here....
some real quality posting....

They won't even say anything about the future of their careers at BBCR1

Deppy think we have the memory of a goldfish or something, it's kinda insulting. Their constant secrecy and the way they ignore certain things is really starting to irritate the shit out of me. Being a little more open with your audience can't hurt Deps

You can't Haru everything.

I'll watch the show first because I haven't seen it yet and need context and also because I'm sure I'll enjoy the documentary more and want to save the best for last.

I dont know why, but I think its more likely that they might just do a tour of europe and do a bunch of meet and greets. Tbh they are probably tired of doing Tatinof.

Probably the show first for me. I'm sort of expecting second-hand embarrassment from some of it (anything involving them singing) but I'm also very curious about the show overall. So I wanna get that out of the way before the doc cuz I think I'll like it more than the show.

I saw that PJ liked both tweets, Shitty liked Phil's tweet. Also, cat only answered&liked Dan's tweet.
I too like to keep tabs on this stuff but it's so hard to.

I was wondering/worrying along the same lines. Might that be a reason for D&P considering some type of "community" thing to discuss any questions we have (I think Dan tweeted something to that effect?)

A bit offtopic but I just want to say that each time someone said Haruing instead of burying, I imagine Dan scooping out stuff and shove it under his pillow
I am probably 1-2 on the #busgate scale because I am without a hobby and internet is a vast place.
And I'm definitely going to watch the show first because I've never seen it before (rip my unused tickets lol). Going to watch the show twice probably; one for enjoyment, second for analysing. And then the documentary. Then, we'll see. I will probably won't hang out around idb for at least a day because I wanna enjoy it privately. Haha
Seriously so excited and can't wait!

Are the tour and bts videos still going to coincide with the UK YouTube Red rollout, or did that go away?
Also, I was expecting da boys to be heavily promoting the release, at least more than they have so far.... Dan said "shitstorm," but the only storm around here is the inundation that is currently happening in our area (Mid Atlantic US.)

He said something every day for five days leading up to it, so I imagine we'll get our first tidbit tomorrow.
