it'll never happen but could you imagine if Phil did a 'my boyfriend buys my outfits' and it had Dan buying but he did the thing that Emma Blackery did where she was like 'my boyfriend didnt want to be in this so here's Luke'. I'd be interested to see how people would interpret that. Pretend it isn't very out of character for Phil, what would be everyones interpretation? Specifically about the word boyfriend and then an explicit assertion that it isn't referring to Dan, exactly like Emma did with Luke, what do you think the reaction would be?

Was that when Emma & Luke were keeping it quiet that they were together, or did everyone know they were a couple and Emma just being cheeky?

Either way, the anti's would probably collectively sploosh.

it was when they were keeping it quiet so Luke, her boyfriend, was in the video but she said her boyfriend didnt want to be in the video (the implication being that her boyfriend wasn't Luke)

honestly, that video convinced me they weren't together - and I went to go see Emma live in London and Luke was the host (which is the same night I met Patty Walters on D&Ps old street... v weird 24 hours) they interacted on stage and I STILL didnt click they were together until Luke uploaded the video where he 'came out as straight'

Which is why I'd be interested if Phil did it - even though he wouldn't.

They are somewhere that has plants that have...leaves. And are green. Possibly a vine or a bush or a mix of both. Plus lil twiggy plants with tiny leaves...

MBTI would be great, since it would actually tell us something about them unlike the walk in the woods (though that's probably why they wouldn't do it). I think the most we've gotten was Dan talking about it in a live show

yeah, it's sad that they wouldn't, but I totally understand why. the phandom doesn't let them breathe with the over-analyzing, so they have a valid reason to be wary of getting personal. other youtubers have it so much easier than it comes to that, we're all too invested in DnP but the buzzfeed quizzes could be good because they're both silly and can have more interesting opinions to choose from as well. I think I'd settle for them just telling their types in a liveshow or something, they don't have to do the test on camera. tbh I just really want to know if Phil actually is an INFP because that's my type so I'm curious and Dan is an INFJ, apparently.

I'm a INFP too! Really surprised to learn that Phil was one, but it kind of makes sense. And if they would actually take the test, I would LOVE that. But they probably wouldn't though, can't get my hopes up

And a "Dan buys my outfits or even a "Phil buys my outfits" would be amazing, 99% of the time I just don't get Dan's fashion sense, but it would be so interesting.

So now we know: Dan and Phil are at somewhere with bushes. And water. And umbrellas. Wow, really narrowing down the options here.

i couldn't find this info in the forum so i'm sorry this is so random but can someone fill me in if their DITL videos are an expected annual thing they do? since i've seen their japan 2015 and austrailia 2016, is it implied there is a for sure thing to be uploaded for 2017?
what are other annual videos they do that their we as an audience can expect from them each year?
PINOF (obviously), DITL (?), spooky week (obviously), gaming-mas (?) and are the baking videos just random? because i've noticed they haven't done a christmas related one in awhile but the easter baking has been done the past 2 years....

I'm pretty sure DITL has been a thing since 2012, so it's pretty expected they'll do one every year but I suppose there's a chance they won't do one. Same goes for PINOF, but even more expected because they've been making those for a lot longer. Not 100% about the other ones thought, and I don't want to say something wrong so imma not comment on baking videos, gaming-más and spooky week

DITLs are not really a definite annual tradition, but they've done one every year since 2012 so it would be somewhat surprising if they didn't make one.
As for the rest, PINOF and spooky week definitely happen once a year, baking videos happen at least once a year but it's a little unpredictable what times of year they'll happen (halloween usually, easter sometimes, christmas rarely). Gamingmas has only happened once so far and Phil's just said "You'll see" in regards to whether it's going to happen again. (If I'm wrong about any of this please correct me this is mostly just off the top of my head)

reading over this thread, all i can think about is how much time dan would have saved everyone involved if he'd just admitted to every article of his clothing being in phil's washing machine b/c he procrastinates and laundromats are scary.

To be fair, a lot of these are from times when Dan was visiting Phil’s house (so he probably had a significantly limited wardrobe with him at the time), or when they were on vacation together (again, limited wardrobe).

i've known about other DITL videos they've done but it made me wonder if it was an expected thing they do each year when they go on holidays, like japan, australia, new york. so since they are currently in their mysterious holiday atm, i don't know if thats expected to be their next DITL or not.
but all this wonder is making me excited for the possibly and looking forward to the for sure PINOF and spooky week videos!!

I am guessing whether or not we get gamingmas purely depends on how profitable it was for them last year vs how much they feel like that profit was worth the effort. Views were understandably lower on a consistent basis per video since there was one a day, but to date they have a combined (and yes, I just did the math) view count of close to thirty seven million. There isn't a single one under a million views, even the spon, which is pretty good for twenty four back to back days of posting.

Basically this post is just me crossing my fingers and hoping they got crazy ad dollars on those 37m views.

Tom has made a bunch of vids teaching other people how to dive...I would love that for but I know they (well maybe just Dan) would just spend all of their time complaining about having to climb up to the platforms.

It's funny to think of them suggesting clothes for each other, that could be really interesting. The only thing about them just swapping clothes is Dan's bigger tops hang off Phil. The photo in Dapgo of him in the oatmeal/potato sack jumper shows how huge it is on him, it just hangs off his shoulders and doesn't suit him at all. I'm not sure about trousers, but maybe tighter tshirts would still be okay.

That dive video is pretty funny especially in slow motion. It's cute to compare it to the old Jamaica trip stuff.
