I enjoyed this live show a lot more than the previous one.

Especially the first 25 minutes were great. Glad he addressed the onion thing, he was clear about what he didn’t care for and imo he should leave it at that now.

Phil also only using him for attention, what a bad guy.

Lots of opinions which I always appreciate.

Lots of music talk though, which is not really my thing.

Dan wondering why Phil would be screaming Leslie on Sunday, since he didn’t hear it.

Him not being a supportive bf of Phil wanting to take care of something, smh.

He seemed so much happier tonight particularly at the beginning. I'm glad he said his piece and so calmly, too calmly almost but it's not like all his other opinions where he's happier to go off.

I find the music opinions interesting as I'm so out of touch with the modern stuff, but I also zone out a bit for the same reason. Could do without him prefacing some things with "if you're with it, know things and have good taste" or however he put it, then I start wanting to smack him all the while wanting to reassure anyone and everyone that you can use a frigging "pleb" aftershave if you like the scent

Even though there's no more concrete info on anything much, it's nice to know the big blowup in a few weeks is tatinof and docu YTRed related rather than a complete surprise coming out of left field.

Feels sad when he keeps getting chased off at the end by someone messaging him to go. He's gonna go around 10pm anyway, but let him finish.

I was curious as to why Dan wanted to know how close NY is to Boston (when talking about the pizza place in Boston that he would totally go back to)..... Lol it's probably nothing. Ignore this.

Also, he brought up the 'shit hitting the fan' in 2-3 weeks again...I guess that's when the tatinof movie stuff is coming out then? I wasn't fully paying attention lol. I thought the tatinof stuff is supposed to come out in November? He said it would be coming "soon". Yet when someone mentioned spooky week (end of October) he said it was ages away. He probably changes up his concept of the word "soon" for different things lol.

The onion talk was amazing. My heart stopped when he actually said the name, and while he was going on about professional fans, I was silently going YES YES YES DAN THANK YOU. Clearly, not enough people in the last ls read between the lines and it made him be as explicit as he could in this one without feeling controversial or putting his audience down. I liked it. Obviously you shouldn't give trolls attention if you can avoid it, but I think he handled the situation well.

Yep! Someone named Darla said "give me a nickname." He almost said something, paused, then texted Phil to ask if it was offensive. I'm sad we'll never know what the nickname was going to be (also he types so fast what the hell )

I know like Dan tell us what you know!! And I was so happy he addressed onision (and all other youtubers who leech off of them for that matter).

Made me think Dan is so not chill internally about almost everything he doesn't talk about because he has to keep appearances (I thought he reached a certain level of detachment from all the sh*tstorms, but apparently not). Onion thing is one, and the fact that he brought up Phil today (however jokingly) and in the previous ls (when speaking about phan related comments under the Radiohead yt video), makes me think he's not chill about how prolific has been recently either, but letting it slide for the time being because big D&P projects are on the horizon. Hope he drinks herbal tea (or something else ) after these wild Tuesday chats.

- NY mentioned twice - in regards to Boston pizza and a musical(?) - makes me think they'll be launching their films in US as well.
- I think he consulted Phil about something related to what he said earlier, not Darla.
- Radioshow - it's a pity he got distracted and didn't answer
- New danecdote on dinof - okay, storytelling is his strong point, looking forward to it.

i just finished the liveshow and wow i did not expect that onision talk, but i really appreciated it.

didn't think he would be that direct. i mean he did talk about it kind of in general, but he started talking about it just bc people mentioned him so.
usually i love that neither he or phil bring like their own drama to the phandom bc it just makes everything so much messier and just blow things way out of proportion, but the whole thing with people kind of using their names and faces just for views/attention can get really annoying and i feel like it's gotten more and more common. and it's not like it's just onision, he just happens to be like the worst.

he could've been harsher imo, but still, i think he got the point across pretty well.
and lmao the phil part at the end was cute as well.

and like i said in a previous post, i really want to know what's going to happen with the radio show. listening to some old ones recently made me miss it a lot. i don't think i appreciated it enough while it was a thing.

Alright, I'm gonna say it: I feel like something's gonna go down soon. Something good.

The way they've been talking about the 'stuff on the horizon' has been with quite a sense of awe considering they've already announced what it is. Its not like they're hyping up a surprise because we already know what its gonna be. I started thinking a week or two ago 'god why are they talking with such reverence about the release of a tour dvd and a making-of?'

Dan today was particularly excitable. Bits that stood out:

- can't remember the time, but he said something about the route to happiness is being yourself and accepting yourself followed by a proper Office-style look down the camera lens. These sorts of looks speak volumes with Dan imo. What u tryna say with that look Danny?

- 'the storm is coming' re these releases. Why does he think releasing footage of a tour, which a large part of his dedicated audience has already seen, is going to be so cataclysmic?

- 'maybe I'm just excited about what's around the corner' [paraphrasing, but said 'excited' and was referencing this stuff that's about to pop off]. This sounds normal but it stood out to me. Normally with stuff like this, e.g. the book, he doesn't so much express excitement beforehand, more nervousness and a hint of anxiety. The excitement seems to come afterwards. So what's got him all jimmied up?

Basically what I'm saying is I think there's more to these releases than we currently understand or expect. I don't know what that is, but if I'm reading them (mostly Dan lbr) right its something they appear to be personally excited about as well as professionally. This comes from comparing their demeanours now to when the book was about to be released and UK TATINOF was about to start.

If they're giddy about something that may also explain why Phil's been so giggly and peppy in his liveshows. I even noticed that mood coming from him in the Sims vid which would make sense based on filming time.

I don't know what its gonna be [I'm not delusional enough to think they might come out or be making an indirect but unambiguous statement about their relationship... or am I but I'm excited.

I laughed when he messaged Phil asking about Darla because my first thought was the character from Buffy and I assumed he was asking him something about her. I found it interesting how he mentioned onion, he didn't mention what he felt about what the content itself was just that he was unhappy with the fact he is using his name for views basically. Onions currently trying to wind up someone whose a lot less polite than Dan so hopefully karma will bite him in the butt.
