Well, I'm a stingy bastard just like Phil or even more, I really have a problem tbh but if, as I suspect, these $20 go towards maintaining the zoo/caring for the koalas then even I see nothing wrong with paying that much

The photos are just so darn CUTE, they really managed to make my day a lot better with them. And Phil in green, surrounded by the green walls is just...

It's not even that I'm that stingy, it's more that from my experience in Australia the animal parks are pretty expensive entry fees already and then charge a bunch extra for a photo with a koala and for interacting with some of the other animals too. Tbh it just feels like a bit of a rip off to me, but I understand why people are willing to pay for it

I spent way too long trying to see if it's the same koala they held because the one Phil's holding looks bigger.

don't get me wrong bluebox-away, I can see that it's a total rip off too. My point is that at least the money from this rip off probably goes towards a good cause and therefore it doesn't anger me

Oh absolutely, and I'm loving this But I'm actually one of those weirdos who'd never ever pay for a picture with Deppy.

Regarding the fanservice: I don't know why it is suddenly some revelation that deppy are providing fanservice, if anything I'm delighted to have actual content from them instead of blurry secret pictures from passing phans. Also why this photo before any others deppy have posted? Even though they had been out with crew this was just chill? Why would they make it known that they were with crew? It would bring attention to them which no one wants. This is only a problem here on IDB as some here would stalk follow the crew accounts and know that they were present at this meal. Is it really that big a deal that low and behold two people who base their career around entertaining an audience actually does their job?

Those koala pics made my day! That is what I was wanting from this Australia tour. And some kangaroo candids would be nice.

Cornelia wins, though. She is literally glowing in her photo.

I like how they both picked non-humans for kiss; marry is like the safe one to pick actual people for because it's so unrealistic but if someone hears you said you'd kiss them that's within the realm of possibility, even jokingly.

I'm normally not a fan of touristy wild animal photo things, but I'm assuming the koalas used in these are protected and well cared for unlike the tiger or lion cubs you see being used as props in many other countries, and that the money you pay for this goes to the protection/care of the animals instead of a dodgy breeder so I'm fine. and the koala all look adorable

I love Phil, I absolutely love him. And I know that at the end of the day what we're talking about here is a fluff interview to take up space in a meaningless magazine (no offence Magazine). But he uses words as camouflage. He chooses the safest response that people can just skim over as they read. 'Buffy, yes, nothing new there'. Man or woman, surely he has a more recent 'celebrity crush' than a show from almost 15 years ago. He doesn't want to answer the question at all? Then why not come up with a more interesting joke/deflective answer. Have some fun with it. But he doesn't do any of that, because saying anything different runs the risk of making somebody's ears perk up in his general direction. He clings to the status quo so our eyes move along to the next question, our thoughts of him unchanged. Which, whatever, he's living his life. But man, crack a window Phil, let some fresh air in. I don't get what the worst case scenario could possibly be that prevents him from saying something new or unexpected. He doesn't want to see weird new fanart? Isn't he sick of the usual stuff by now? Truly what else is the deterrent? No comprende.
