not a great one. I think it was at least a few years ago. he was definitely young. I almost think it was a las vagas club. possibly from b-day trip? I mean it was not a youtuber video. the guy who made it did not know who he was. He was filming the club, and Dan just happened to walk in front of the camera.

I have seen all the vid con things from the normal people multiple times. I can't look anymore today tho, MY EYES! I had no idea full nudity was allowed on YT. jesus. the things i have seen this evening. Oh and MEN ARE PIGS. I need major eye bleach. In the clip I am talking about there is a lot of red. Like the lighting is red. Dan is young and with a few other guys. they all walk through shot, but Dan is the only one who seemed to notice. (it sounds like a dream, but I swear it isn't.) Coming out of lurking to comment on this lol As a tall girl myself, I loved this. I'm a little shorter than OP and ten years older, so I imagine I'm a little more secure, but reading Dan's comment actually made me feel better about my height. When I'm around other girls, I always feel huge (though I'm normal weight) and tall and awkward because everyone's at shoulder height, and this next part only has to do with her anxiety that Deppy being shorter than her, but when I go on blind dates, I get extremely nervous that the guys will be shorter than me. And it happens 9 time out of 10 that they are, and it's so disappointing. I'm so glad she wasn't disappointed and Dan was the same height as her. The own it message is so wonderful. Dan and Phil are really such sweet guys. I'm so glad they could help her.

I really liked all the videos they've uploaded in the last week. Dan's was my favorite, and I really love Phil's. The quiz and memes made me go rewatch a bunch of Phil videos. I was so happy that I found a video of his that I couldn't find for months, the Lost in the Mall one. I thought that was so much older than it was, so I'd been looking for it in the 2007-2010 range.

I loved Dan's voice in the video where Phil hurts his hand. I want a video where he only sounds like he's using his indoor voice, although I do like his more energetic moments in videos, too.

Also, new stuff that happened while I was writing. Please mean rebranding.

Did anyone else think from Phil's mention in the liveshow that he was intending to do the next Tumblr Tag? it was posted on 3rd october last year so it would be believable timing. i'm intrigued now whether we will get another reactions video soon anyway or whether they blew their load trying to distract from onion man. I'm also not convinced of that theory, though...maybe they are just running out of time before stuff has to be released and they hadn't done any promo for dapgo beyond the announcement? perhaps Phil realised this needed be done more quickly than anything he was cooking up.

i haven't read back thoroughly so sorry if i'm being repetitious/ignoring the same opinions:
- Dan's shake was way out of character imo. he seemed to realise it too, he didn't really commit to the joke
- he seemed low energy/low sparkle/distracted like he has a few times since the pokemon go vid which was high enthusiasm on his part.
- Phil by comparison is on point lately? his comedic timing and confidence is noticeable. especially at this moment:

and yes, the little looks to the side at Dan which he's avoided for so many years, and the Taylor Lautner comment, and the square beauty (lol) compliment.

So people agree his way of being comfortable mentioning a male we already have knowledge of him liking to look at shirtless is to go for the emulation-comment? which Dan responded to/corrected as emulation, which tells me he either wasn't in the mood to be cheeky like the original Lautner quip, and try his luck raising an eyebrow at it, or that Phil would have edited it out of the video anyway. i'll give it to Phil as one though, because if he was embarrassed by that little revelation on stage years ago he probably would be avoiding ever mentioning his name again. just another example of Phil's confidence/relaxation coming along in baby steps. i'm here for it.

There was a moment, at 4.30ish, where Dan reacted interestingly, to Phil's "sink right into the crease":



It's where i'd expect him to do Prissy Mouth, but it was much more emphasised with the lip pressing and nodding, and then just kind of looking at Phil sincerely? i'm in two minds as to whether he was reacting to the possible innuendo (that i don't think Phil intended/noticed himself), or to the implication that they are most comfortable at home together and it was 'the best time''? i think this is what i feel with Dan having inconsistent energy the last few weeks. some moments it's like he just can't fake the Broadcaster Dan reactions, and just reacts normally, like the shady/low voice liveshow the week before last. idk.

I watched radioshows before I even watched their main channel videos. they were SO good in that role; i think their prowess at live stuff is vastly underrated. to me, it's also where their personalities shine through the most, and their personal chemistry and dynamic. i can't hide that i'm really disappointed, but i hope that whatever is next is something i can still support them in.

that is something i would join tumblr for, for the sole purpose of adding a note so he potentially reads it. i think it's important fan and creator lines stay open like this on a more personal level, especially with the direction of youtube. and if meet and greets are something they possibly find fulfilling but also exhausting on the introverted end of the scale, i hope they know their sincere attempts at connecting are appreciated. add this one to the fabled Phil/girl with self-harm scars story and Dan's last response from the tumblr q+a.

This would otherwise be very exciting, but I echo everyone else who sees this as the end of R1. That was my favorite thing they did. In fact, I loved it so much because I felt like it made them so much more legitimate? Is that weird? Like if anyone asked who they were.. "Oh they're like... funny sketch comedy/radio DJ dudes." And the connections they god from it.... sigh. IDK. Plus when the hell else am I gonna get to over-analyze their "casual" behavior around each other?
