I made a major miscalculation...

When I bought the dapgoose la ticket i could have sworn it was a tuesday afternoon. idk why. I just got an email reminder and its monday night. uuurg. They clearly have no idea what traffic is like in LA at 6pm. Terrible planning. NOw I have to figure out what to do with my dog, and drive what should be 20 minutes but will be over an hour in hell traffic. Anyone know when they give out the actual books? I don;t think I can stay until 10pm, I may have to just grab my book and leave without watching the actual show.

Once the dates came out for DAPGOOSE LA the grumbling began immediately afterwards because it's a school night for many on TOP of the traffic issues and the time. The books are given out when you arrive (that's why you keep your ticket upon admittance) and there isn't really a show, there's pre-selected questions Deppy answers, so its heavily screened. Unless LA is as lucky as London and Phil takes out a table full of tea it's not worth that HORRIBLE LA traffic.

For those who aren't familiar: LA traffic is a game-changer. I swear staying home is the best way to go.

I think it is photoshop. No offense to the people who think Dan has been working out, but really, we're talking about Dan. I can't see him lifting weights, and I cringe at the many different ways Phil could hurt himself.

Anyway, Dan's head in the pic does look huge compared to the rest of his body and irl he's proportionate head-to-body Also, Dan is a large man, and I don't mean he is fat, his got a larger bone structure than say, Phil, so Dan's thighs and hips will only be that narrow in dreams. Also, he's got miles of torso, so it looks like someone was sitting behind a computer and was attempting to discredit the fact that Dan is shaped like a noodle.

Loved the onslaught of videos, makes me wonder if someone is flying to the states (God I hope).

Hmm, I think it's Dan. As someone who actually works out, Dan's arms in the calender photo aren't really all that defined, so I kinda doubt he's been hitting the gym. As far as his head being (slightly) disproportionate to his body, it could be just the camera angle. And he does have a largish ("moon" as he calls it) face. Check out the moles on his upper chest: I think those belong to Dan.

I have absolutely no doubt it's Dan's body, and I never said it wasn't. I did say he was Photoshopped, tho.

Dan with and without photoshop Im guessing they had to trim his shoulders a bit as well as his waist and shorten his torso. Also arms might have been slimmed up but his hands are in two different positions so its hard to tell...

I enjoyed the video so much. First off because Phil looks so beautiful in that shirt that I may have taken a million screenshots ahem... But I also like the game and how well they seem to understand and navigate it. It felt very fast paced to me which I liked and we got a cute hitting moment this time instead and of a praising one A post baking vid Phil Lester

Re merch: I want the backpack soooo badly so Im adding it to my secret santa list. Great sherlocking on the calender guys I will die if we get a Nightmare Before Christmas cosplay especially since we haven't seen Phil in his Jack Skellington costume in forever

Photographer Phil: that pic made me double take to see if it was actual Phil Lester taking it and not a nature phographer. I'm sure he already does some photography on the side that he keeps for himself including some of his husband. (Anyone think this pic was similar to the one taken of Dan in Jamaica )

Dan's hands are HUGE, especially compared to Phil who has delicate, ladylike hands (to match his child-bearing hips but I digress).

Yass to Phils childbearing hips I feel like they flipped and now Phils the twink in the relationship while Dan is the more broad manly one.... (yes this totally needed to be half a page okay)

The London one was a great show and definitely worth the hassle to get there (Hackney wasn't quite as simple or quick as the London Palladium lol); why buy a ticket and then think it best not to go at all? You get given the book as you enter the venue so I'd definitely recommend finding a dog sitter and enjoying your evening! I didn't find it overly pre-screened or dull at all. That seems so unnecessarily negative imo.

Loved the new video, I really enjoyed Phil's energy and it made me realise how different the video is when Dan isn't having to compensate for Phil being quiet and just watching, because he seemed to really enjoy it as well. I'm totally here for Bossy Phil!

Dan even took Phil's phone in Hong Kong to film his Pokémon Go episode with didn't he? That's some insane level of trust right there. 'Yeah just take my phone with you into this foreign busy city for a few hours that's fine' like I would never..

A few of my friends know the code for my phone because it's just more convenient for taking pictures, navigating or reading/answering my text messages when I'm drivingetc, and I know their codes as well. If you trust someone enough not to snoop in your messages - why not? They definitely have that kind of trust, so I don't think it's unusual.

Kind of off-topic now maybe, but I just watched the new merch video (Impossible Quiz was calling my name) and yes, it's them spon-ing their stuff, but I had some reactions I want to share.

Overall, I was struck by how non-planned it seemed to be and loved that Phil was equally involved. Some time stamps:

I love that there was no counter to it, though. Dan had every opportunity to give one and didn't. He was asked if he and Phil have each other's passcodes and just answered that they did, and then did his cute little mock-whine answer about it being more convenient. And if Dan himself didn't bother to make the work excuse when asked, there's no reason for anyone to make it for him!

Damn, that galaxy merch is lovely. I'm glad I held off buying the stationery set (I don't need all of it, only really want the pencil case), though I'm not sure on the shirts yet. I love the bag, though. I just fit all my art stuff into a plastic case, I'm intrigued whether it would fit along with a laptop, cos I take it all with me so often (rarely ever, still I'm curious).

They look stunning in the shirts too, and Dan in the black denim jacket. The gaming video was fun, I'd watch it again, but the game is so frustrating. Good they took the time to decode the wingdings bit even if they didn't really have the patience for it.

Does anyone else not agree with them about the advent calendar chocolate? I bought it last year and it wasn't the nicest. It wasn't terrible, but I question their tastebuds nonetheless. They said they spent three days tasting chocolate for it

Loving the calendar now I've seen more of it too, though it's mostly still daft as hell. I love the cover, they dress up smart and pretty so well.

Touch ID seems a bit OTT/unnecessary (lbr, it's irritating as fuck on ios10!), but I see nothing odd about them knowing each others passwords for various things... what's wrong with a little bit of trust, people?

Advent calendar chocolate is generally standard, and not the best(!!!) - unless you go high end and get lindt/thorntons branded calendars. So I side-eyed them pretty hard last year over that, rather than the actual choc. (Didn't get the calendar, won't be getting one this year either)

I'm probably gonna get the blackpack. Do need a new one somewhen soon.

Just logged-in to say that... The Impossible Quiz 3 has a different tone to it when you compare it with the previous two. I don't know why, but the video seems to be different... somehow. Or maybe it's because of my earphones.
Anyways, I wanna buy the calendar, but I have no idea with what to do with it, so I'm just gonna stare at the spoilers for gods knows how long. Oh! I just noticed this... Phil's cloak is a Hufflepuff's, but his scarf is a Slytherin's? Or maybe it's just my eyes

I agree that it's hard to relate to and therefore believe, but that's just the level of trust that Dan and Phil are at. I feel like they use each other's phones interchangeably for things like pictures that could be done on either phone, or maybe even checking twitter feeds. I also wouldn't be surprised if they sometimes texted people back if the other was busy. I don't think it's trusting the other not to snoop, but more not caring if they snoop because there's nothing to hide and no surprises. They know each other so well that private conversations aren't anything to hide.

I can kinda relate to this, as my best friend has my passcode. It especially came in handy when I was blackout drunk and he texted my dad on my behalf to tell him I was okay etc. But other than that, sometimes he'll ask to use my phone and at first I was kinda like "why for what what apps are you looking at" but soon enough I just stopped caring. I hide nothing from him, so who the fuck cares if he reads my private conversations. The only times it gets dicey is if I complain to a friend about him doing something annoying but even so, I'm never nasty about it, and if he read it I'd just be like "yeah you annoyed me a bit, sorry."

Y'know what we've been missing this past week and a bit? What happened to the snarky tweets ad replies along the lines of "noone's here to steal my cereal" / "don't care, i'm having pancakes!" etc?
