I've forgotten what a lovely interview this is. The interviewer is well-informed and seems genuinely interested in them, not to mention respectful of them and YouTube as a creative platform as a whole. I remember being pleased and surprised when he asked that question about ''what do you want to do in ADDITION to YouTube, not after it.'' It was so refreshing to see them do an interview with someone who wasn't the least bit condescending. Only Daniel James howell would wear a longsleeve black sweater and black jeans in the summer (I know it's technically spring but you get the point) in Texas. What will we do with this boy?
I saw the address on twitter and I reported it. Since they live in an apartment/flat, I believe that they're safer than they would be living in a house since a fan or stalker would need to know exactly where they're located in the building and would probably need to ask someone for a key to get in. I personally think that this may be another reason to not buy a house just yet because it would be a lot easier for someone to track them down and terrorize them. I believe that they might move in a couple of years from now, when their YouTube fame has kind of died down and they feel comfortable living in a normal house.
Of course, that may not be the reason at all but I would just personally feel safer living in an apartment than a house if I were famous and had rabid fans as they do. I'm also sorry if I got any of the terminology wrong or anything about flats/apartments, I really don't know much about them other than they're multiple resident buildings. (Why do I always apologize about my posts? Nevermind that.)

We should definitely be getting a ls or a video today, right? It's been three days since Phil mentioned filming.

I have a question to the community.
People keep mentioning Dan's "staring" at Phil as a lovely element of their romantic relationship (and no, before someone brings it up I understand it is not brought forth as end all type of phan proof, but it is definetely interpreted in romantic context, complete with references to Phil being uncomfortable with public staring).
This has always been so utterly perplexing to me. Like, of course Dan looks at Phil while Phil's talking / being the center of attention or the major subject of conversation. Isn't it just what all people do when talking to someone? Or at least the absolute majority of them? Why is it suddenly denoted as "staring"? Is looking at the person talking in conversation for the duration of their statement out of the norm in UK? I feel like I am missing something here or y'аll gone full

That is a really nice interview indeed. Sadly we don't get many of those.
Thanks for linking to that Guardian review. I had never seen it before, and it's really awful, the comment section is great though.

I agree with you in general, I don't think Dan looking at Phil (or staring) when he is talking is a proof of anything blablabla (though I can't personally deny he sometimes watches him with borderline adoration) but have you seen the gif from that Huff post interview that started this topic?? Phil wasn't talking at all and wasn't the center of attention, in fact the interviewer was. So if Dan was watching that guy in the monitor behind Phil, it makes perfect sense, but if he was actually staring at Phil during the whole introduction it is rather weird honestly. And I am not even sure it is "weird" in the sense "oh so cute he is watching his bae". More in the sense, "run Phil run that guy is a serial killer and will probably cook you".

I'm loving the concept. Super unique, a bit strange and very entertaining. Good job Phil! But seriously where does Phil go on the internet to find this shit? LOL
Edit: Phil poking Dan was too cute, I watched it like 8 times

omg, I'm halfway in the video and I'm laughing too hard, mostly because there are so many topics we discussed here that I literally had to pause to get some water.

Actually cry-laughed. YESSSSSS!!!!
Much pun, very branding.
Though I thought Phil was the seal, Dan was the whale... Or have I got that arse-about-face?

If there had been one more euphamism, I might have died laughing. although the forced ones made eme want to die a little. "special feeling"? really?
can we appreciate this face for the circumstance as well?
lol @ dan's "are you leaving that in"
I keep on feeling like they have certain things they tend to do over and over again in their collab vids, since the tour started - I mean, all the way back when the uk tour started. Am I alone? existential crisis joke, phil euphamism and dan catching it/looking shifty eyed, references to old branding (lion, llamas and such), etc? not that they dont tend to fall into ruts, but its getting annoying.

THIS,
SO
MUCH.
I mean I swear to god, we have discussed so many of these here.
And no I'm super surprised that Phil left that "Cockies" comment in, also Dan's face... I have seen him do that face before, but when?
I have so much to say but so little willpower to type.

Innuendos and puns from phil 10/10 "pound into " #philtops
It was a nice video, a little persona heavy with the existential crises, but they were cute and Phil poking dans face and being a mum made it worth it
