What a nice video! Not feeling eloquent enough for a review right now but I do wanna link this page for anyone who wants to beat their friends at the game: https://www.google.com/streetview/understand/ As Google streetview is only available in those places, you should only place your guesses in there!

I wanted to add on that no American road signs say "WHEN FROSTY" either.onetruetrash wrote:I stopped watching the video to say the same thing. It's pretty common knowledge that America doesn't use kilometers I'm assuming. I guess Dan just had a moment of stupidity.fleur-de-lis wrote:What an amazing video!
But seriously, if it says 30kmh on the street - that's a dead giveaway that it's not in the US
I fiddle around with GeoGuessr regularly, so it's safe to say I adored this video. It was perfect silly, stupid fun. Emphasis on the stupid.
There were so many cute, giggly, close moments here that we don't always get to see? Gimme dat playful shit-talking all dayyyyyy. I feel like I really need a rewatch.

That video was so good omg. They seemed to be in such a good mood and I don't think I stop smiling during the entire thing. I don't usually stop and replay individual moments but I found myself doing that repeatedly because they were just so...cute??
The very first round, I had to laugh when they thought they were "very clearly in America" because my first thought was that it looked like Quebec and my husband guessed Ontario. To be fair, it looks like a pretty significant portion of Canada (and I assume the US, and any number of other places I'm sure) but I guess I was right.
I'd love to see them play this again, maybe Dan will have better luck with signs next time.

I noticed that too. Same actually, but for me I think too much of what they say just flies right past me when I'm high. I'm not a native English speaker and Dan in particular speaks so fast that I end up feeling like I just didn't absorbed anything.danklester wrote:[offtopic]I also loved Dan's comment about rolling the sticker into a spliff, right up my alley!! Has anyone else ever watched DnP's videos while high? It's such a strange experience.. I think I actually prefer them sober [/offtopic]

Aaahhh I loved this! Came right on time for me That looks like such a fun game too! It was frustrating though when they had dumb moments like seeing signs with km on it and thinking it was the US. They also seemed obsessed with Kansas needs more wheat
I don't know why but my mouth fell open at the grindr comment, that was so great! What is this, a post-bour universe? I am loving the (apparent) shift into more adult humour.
I totally missed the fields of wheat comment, that sounds hilarious though Off to watch it again!

This video is the content I am here for. An incredibly good video that I have rewatched twice already. Not sure why Dan tweeted saying he was being a bit extra, he was fucking funny. They both were really funny!
My two favourite bits were:
> Dans "oh" and the face that followed after the "no, not like Grindr" moment.
> "YOURE JUST CLICKING WILLY NILLY"
You carry on being a bit extra Dan, especially if it gives us context like this.

I would go so far to say that maybe Dan was a little high during this video (joking, kinda).danklester wrote: [offtopic]I also loved Dan's comment about rolling the sticker into a spliff, right up my alley!! This is the grade A+ content I subscribed for, people. I mean, when they open on some Grindr bants, you know it's gonna be good.
I was also laughing at the "kilometers in America" moment. Especially since they seemed so aware of other details outside their own culture, such as Phil saying "frosty" was British language (as opposed to American, 100% true) and Dan (I think) recognizing the Portuguese when Phil just assumed it was Spanish or whatever.
One thing I couldn't help but notice was how close they were sitting this episode. Phil especially seems fond of leaning over/into Dan's shoulder quite a lot, and not just in this episode. Usually when I see it, it's because they're playing a game on a phone, so I tell myself that it's just because they both need to see the tiny screen. But this game was on a full-sized computer monitor, so, hey, 'yknow, whatever.

Like everyone else so far, I loved this video a lot! Super fun and the bants were on-point. Dan's kmh mistake was pretty terrible, but I guess he just forgot since everywhere around him uses that. Anyone keeping score of the dvp stuff? Has Phil caught up?
Slight tangent: anyone know when/why they started doing the garbled intro for Dan vs. Phil? They even made fun of that themselves a few vids back, but I wasn't watching the gaming channel long enough to see 'normal' intros.

Plus one for this was really funny and don't worry, Danny. He was extra sweary, I don't know if that's caused by the competition, being relaxed or, as he said, just being too hot. They were both funny, though. Competitive even down to how much geography they did at school
Phil was quite in charge too, all adding in a rule to the game, keeping score, well he usually does, but anyway, I liked it.
I can imagine it's easy to forget about miles vs kilometres, but I was surprised they didn't realise the Portuguese words weren't Spanish.

It was extra hilarious, and really stood out from other vids, they seemed to have less of a filter, especially Dan. maybe it was the heat, maybe it was something else :weedemoji:.missemma wrote: I would go so far to say that maybe Dan was a little high during this video (joking, kinda).

Just because we have a fair few new members here, I thought I would let you know that the phandom survey will be closed on 30/06 at midnight, so if you haven't taken it please go and do it.

Also confession time: I thought America used km/h idk why
Living for the 'Lester' and 'Howell', I didn't even know I needed that in my life. Honestly, their content at the moment is 10/10 for me. I was nearly crying laughing at that video and I'm about to re-watch.

That photo is lovely, they both look so good, Dan looks particularly sweet and Phil really suits that blue jacket.
Yep! The left pocket has a blue tag which you can see in the insta video of them taking this selfiefondsmiles wrote: isn't this jean jacket the one dan was wearing yesterday?

According to the comments under the picture, both of them were given a similar jacket by VidCon.sparkle wrote:Yep! The left pocket has a blue tag which you can see in the insta video of them taking this selfiefondsmiles wrote: isn't this jean jacket the one dan was wearing yesterday?
Aah this was a lovely vid! Hope they play it again.
My favourite part was definitely them trying to pronounce Odense.
(I don't mean that in a condescending way, I'm just always excited to see my country anywhere. That small country feel...)

of course Dan got don't talk to me sometimes I wonder how antisocial he actually is irl because of his exaggerated persona in videos, I mean he jokes about it a lot which makes me think he's just saying it to be "relatable", but then you hear about him and Phil sitting away from others a lot and it makes me just a bit
