I'm loving these creators summit photos. They both look really good here. Phil's looking much better.

Still not a fan of the yeezy shirt. The shape is fine but the colour doesn't work on Dan.

But the shirt looks great here so I'm confused. Probably because its more grey looking here.

I'm ready for some good old fashioned pseudo-psychoanalysis based off this pic. I don't necessarily think it's a skin thing. I think he (subconsciously) recognizes it as an "intimate" pose for two strangers and holds back on adding more physical contact. In another prom photo pose, I think he had his fists clenched or was hover-hand over the girl's waist. He goes along with it because it's funny and not serious, but it probably makes him a wee bit uncomfortable. Phil on the hand, as we've already established, has less of a boundary when it comes to being touchy-feely.

I love Nat, she's been my fave female YouTuber for so many years and I know Dan's content and format and abhorrent upload schedule was heavily inspired by her. The two of them together would make my life. idc if Dan has to fly to Australia to make it happen, I want a sketch with them together.

Okay, this is definitely pseudo-psychoanalysis and I want to preface it as being speculation, but I also get the vibe that Dan is uncomfortable with his waist/stomach region, as he has talked about putting a pillow over that part of his body as a "security" thing on some joint liveshow they did idk. This is also probably a lot of projection, but I'd definitely feel anxious if someone wanted to do that pose with me, even if they were a really close friend of mine.

There was a video of it as I did seen it before, the guy was a fan and met them if I'm not mistake at one of the underground/train station in London. I saw the video where the guy practically ran and jumped on Phil and Phil nearly toppled due to the sudden impact. The one he jump on Dan I only saw pics.

I think Daniel was getting a bit chubby there for a while and was sensitive about it. It looks like he lost at least some of that weight, but retains a bit in his thighs... but he's a big guy and can carry extra pounds without looking overweight.

I've always thought that they were very conscious that they are hugging teenage girls at M&Gs (teenage girls who are paying to touch them) but that being said I think Dan may just be an awkward hugger anyway particularly when his not comfortable with the person.

That's the only video springing to mind right now but I'm sure there is at least one other video I've seen where his hugging another youtuber and making hugging look like an all round painful experience.

In a later video, when asked if he's taller than Dan, Bry plays that exact clip for proof and he says "this is a video of him giving me a terrible hug" lol

Well his not wrong about the hug.
He also puts Dan at 6"4 which actually sounds about right if Phil's 6"2 but I don't think Dan himself has ever claimed to be above 6"3. Someone seriously needs to measure that boy.

I think Dan is prob around 6"3-6"4. I also trust Bry's judgment just because I feel like when you're as tall as Bry is you're going to pay closer attention to other people's heights, especially when they're close to your own height (or at least from personal experience, I'm tall, and therefore I focus a lot on the height of people around me and tend to have a good gauge of height).

Was watching old dinofvyou1 vids (plz come back I'm cranking ) and came across this at 3:38

He gets quite defensive when people comment on his height. I wonder if he's insecure about it

I'm catching up with old stuff but I wanted to comment on a few things,

Re: The that it's all a set.

This came up. OK. OK, I admit, about a week into watching their videos I thought that their whole house was a set and there was no way that they actually lived there and filmed so frequently in their own private space. Everything was just too appointed and neat and it just feels sorta set-like? I got over this quickly but now that it's been raised again...hmmm...you know, it could be. But if it is, I don't really see it as a bad thing. Sure, they give the impression that they're filming from their actual bedrooms and living room and lounge but the impression serves its purpose. It gives you that intimate, homey feeling whether it's real or not. So we may never know the truth...but if it did turn out to be a set I wouldn't un- them for it. In fact, I'd be happy to know that they have some completely private space in their lives

Okay, can I confess that this has been on my mind for literal months? Like I stare at the backgrounds of their rooms sometimes to find subtle differences, if any. It shouldn't be that big of a deal but it is to me, idk. starlight-still thank you for the last sentence in your post though, that it'd actually be nice to know they had a private space -- that's absolutely true. I should remember that.

re: Glozell vid, augh, I'm sure she means well, she doesn't seem like a malicious person and I think she genuinely likes them (as I'm sure they do her, as a person) but her videos with them make me cringe so bad. She's super loud and attention-seeking and they always look to be just riding the edge between playful on-camera companionable awkwardness and genuinely uncomfortable with it all.

This was like 3 years ago. Dan and Phil were on train station going to or from shooting a Knightmare TV Show Remake. Bunch of subscribers met them there and started took photos and hugging them. There was a group of boys who saw that and this guy thought it will be fun to jump them. He wasn't a fan. At least what one of the girls who was there said.
