not what you asked but i think that one very telling thing to keep in mind while looking for the times they have said they are best friends is their reaction (confusion and shock lol) on that one episode of the sims were they tried to make dil and tabitha best friends and that made them less romantic

Philena pretty sure delay tweets about their hotel room view, they knew phandom are full of sleuths. We take this as a lesson for ourselves, and give it a 24 hour lapse next time just to be sure

Pretty sick people out there - let's hope some street cams picked up some details for the police. BTW, if they catch the assailants, there will be pretty serious charges against them if it turns out they did conspire (plan ahead) to assault him - it wouldn't be some throw away charge.

TBH, I'm not sure why anybody in the public sphere would want to post their current whereabouts / plans on publically viewable social media sites - it just seems too much of a security risk - and really, this applies to anyone. One of my comp-sci professors specifically warns against it (he does also work for one of the three letter agencies around here, so ...) Most of my friends use SMS /iMessage groups and FindMyFriends to coordinate, but then someone inevitably blows our cover on FB or Twitter

A week or two ago on Twitter one of the people running updatedphan or phandomstats answered a question about them, danisnotonfirevyou1 and guild wars 2 saying the three of them play it a lot, I gather from their Twitter banter up and ps are good friends so they probably all play it together. I gotta get back into the guild I joined, I miss playing with people.

Awful news about Calum, glad he's not too badly hurt, but then there's how shaken it makes you feel. These guys all share so much, I don't know if we realise sometimes how much more we see of these strangers than even our friends.

I hope she gets given or is paid enough to afford decent treatment if it screws up her knee. A few years in a band damaging that and she could ruin one knee for life, that's not worth whatever they're getting out it, is it? As one with an occasionally-awful back problem (if I lift more than a kilo I could push my bulging disc too close to a nerve and be bent over or only lying down for a week or two) my reaction to that is

and I need a way bigger emoji. I've seen enough musical theatre (huge fan of Cats) to know that an injury means you rest and there's either an understudy or a gap in the lineup. I saw Cats once with three men missing and an extra woman, and twice with one person covering two roles meaning double the extra little bits to run around covering, and the show was still great. A band like that with six people doing the exact same thing can manage especially only for one song in a concert.[/offtopic]

I'm all for the 24-hour waiting period before discussing the whereabouts of D&P. Delaying the pleasure of speculating about sleeping arrangements will make the speculation that more sweet. One needs a bit of restraint to make carte-blanche depravity taste that much nicer.

How incredibly scary that story about Calum is... Every time I hear a story like this I feel so sad, it's something I think I'll never get used to. They say the world is "safer than it's ever been" and that's likely true, but it just doesn't feel that way anymore. Over here, in good old Western-Europe, I used to feel so safe being gay. But even here it seems we're skidding backwards into a time that really doesn't think the LGBT+-community is all that cool. Sure, everyone will say; "sure, you can get married" but don't you dare to kiss your SO in public! And don't you dare talk about discrimination, because gay marriage means that discrimination has dissapeared. I remember a story not too long back about a lesbian couple who got assaulted on the street in one of our northern cities and the assaulters said; "If you look like a dude, fight like a dude". It made me sick to my stomach, same as this story. I hope he's okay. I hope he's somewhere he's loved.
