That onesie pic is so adorable it hurts my eyes. The other pics look like passport photo rejects where they've told him off for smiling or tilting his head. The miserable front facing one is the acceptable one.

In his responses he said there's a gaming vid they've filmed that's not undertale coming this week, it's too soon for a dil so is it the sequel to the spon vid? Or hopefully finishing the impossible quiz?

This video. I swear to god. It ruined me. It actually ruined me. Wanna know why?
1. The SnK cosplay. As someone deeply invested in the SnK manga, to the point of no return and crying violently with each new chapter, I may have had a little emotional freak out at that part. If you are up to date with the manga, you might know.
2. The MakoHaru cosplay. As someone who loves sports anime, and is part of fandoms, MakoHaru is, after Eremin, the ship I am most invested in. Also I have noticed from the start the resemblance they have with those two characters. As well as the fact that Dan is makoharu shipper. To the point of him ranting in a LS why it's superior to the other Haru ship. Ehm
3. What the heck was that all over touching. Damn. I didn't expect that at all. Just.

To the Dan's recommendations:
F*** you Phil, Haikyuu is better the more volleyball it has. I'm dying with anticipation each episode.
Yuri on ice is so much more than Dan described it as.
High Speed is dumb, but it does have few very beautiful scenes.
Over all, I love hearing Dan talking about stuff he likes. It's so nice to listen to. I'll go ad few of those anime's on my list.

I personally would have preferred phil's video be just phil. the weird relationship/not relationship vibe they put off really messed with me and detracted from the video. I just wanted Phil's actual opinions on the anime, and him wearing cute costumes. w/e. we can't always get what we want.

Dan's video. - I have a lot of opinions on this video. I loved the video, he was super interesting and that sweater is my favorite thing on him, but his opinions bother me sometimes because he doesn't describe stuff accurately. My timestamped opinions under the spoiler.

3.00 Haikuu - glad he likes the actual sport part, its what makes the anime great - I'm one of those people who can watch a sports anime without shipping everyone on every team together so the sports part has to be good, and it's great in this one. not sure he needs to tell us phils opinion on everything but whatever.

3.25 Yuri on ice. Remember how I said I can watch a sports anime without shipping people. I kinda lied. Victuuri is life. It's probably because it's canon, and they are older though. He spends so much time complaining in this video about the antics of highschoolers and how hes tired of it, but doesnt want the anime with two consenting adults who have finally found someone who interests them and motivates them? I can't tell if he stopped watching it and just doesn't know that it has turned more serious and canon (don't say it's not I will fight you lol), or if he is watching it and just doesnt want to sound like he likes it. I have a feeling it's going to be less of a sports anime and more of a slice of life/inspirational love story/your lie in april vibe, and I have a problem watching anything that isn't really love and just fanservice anymore. It inspired me to write my first fanfic ever because I can apparently only write canon. I wish he had either had a serious opinion on it, or left it out of the video. The "eh, idk other people say its good" and "its just homo-erotic guys ice-skating" really bothers me.

3.45 Hunter x Hunter. Never seen it. Show a picture of the tattoo pls lol. I love tattoos.

3.55 Re. Zero Never seen it. Love his sass about it though. Tying it with back butler makes me thing butlers/maids just make him uncomfortable for some reason.

7:25 Death Parade - I keep meaning to watch this. My husband can't handle the deep stuff without going into existential crisis mode so ill have to watch it on my own lol.

8.40 Fruits basket....Pure...ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahaha. Sure Dan, whatever. Def not a gateway to the furry community Seriously there are so many weird complicated relationships, bi-gender characters, and animal people - I expected him to go very in depth talking about how many people this anime helps accept themselves stuff. but no. Then again I read the Manga, which is much more detailed and intense than the show. I'm glad he enjoyed it though.

10.00 Theres a short movie about free. IDK if I wanna watch it. I didn't really love free, again the strange I like you but were all in HS and don't date/ aren't interested in anyone ever thing really bugged me by the end. I s2g Yuri on ice has ruined watching all these fumbly vague HS anime's for me. I need adult relationships with proper communication pls. All the drama is stupid, I agree Dan.

Contributing a incredibly "useful" post for posterity sake.
In a 13 minute video, Dan mentioned Phil's name outright 15 times and then referenced him as part of a we/us/our type a further 13 more times.

I took a while to click on the AP video as the thumbnail was screaming cringe at me but I actually really enjoyed it. But then again it was basically Dan and Phil smiling and playing with each others hair and what trash can wouldn't enjoy that.

And I liked Dan's anime recommendation video as I enjoy Dan giving opinions when he is required to stay on a particular topic. In liveshows he gives me whiplash with the way he drops and picks up topics and then always manages to never go back to the ones that interested me.
And why would Phil ever need to give an opinion Dan when you're here to tell everyone what he thinks on everything? Speaking of Phil Dan joking about blowing the dust off his side channel made me check Phil's and it will have been officially inactive for a year next week.

Overall I have enjoyed all of the crunchyroll spon but I think it's because despite the fact we know they are only making them because they sponsored the tour they feel less disingenuous than the average youtuber ad because they are about something they genuinely like and have an interest in. Unlike the god awful mobile app games they played on the gaming channel.
I wonder if this was the last of their ads for tour spon videos.
Actually now that I've typed that I've just thought I'm sure they made a comment in the last #spon video on the gaming channel (the game that was exactly like Dragon City but not) that made it sound like it would be getting a sequel. Oh joy. We can all look forward to that.

I loved the video, I laughed pretty hard. I loved the whole putting in the contact part. As a contact wearer it is always funny watching those that don't try and put them in. Also is Dan wearing new jeans? Is it possible he had a different pair of black skinny jeans?

I'm another that doesn't mind this kind of spon video. They put effort into it, it was cute to basically watch them play dress up together for 10 minutes, and it's something they actually have some interest in.

Also now I know that a middle part does Phil no favours and neither does bright red hair. He looked nice as Haru though! Cuz it's so drastically different than his usual look obviously.

- Seeing them with weird hair/costumes was fun, but for the love of god phil please never centre part your hair


Lol I can't believe it either but the phan service isn't really sustaining me - I just really miss when d&p's content had more stories and sketches, rather than costumes/hauls/games - I guess I like seeing deppy either in a liveshow/radioshow setting, which has that shit-this-is-live, slightly increased audience engagement factor, or completely scripted storytelling (dan's sketches, phil's music vids (rip) etc.).

If I knew much about anime I probably would have loved it though.
