I've been away and had to read like 15 pages to catch up BUT i just want to say that I loved the newest video and it reminded me so much of their Sonic one years ago. Just the silly bants and casual convos sounded so real and happy to me. I've been impressed with gamingmas so far. Still amazed that they've kept it up so long!

I loved the new Video. So relaxed and happy, it was like they where glowing. And all those fond little things, it is amazing.

I actually think it would be good if they would be lurking here from time to time, just because I feel like this is giving a very intelligent and nice insight in what their (older) fans think, because this forum is just so civil and fond and reasonable and both good articulated with criticism as we´ll as with love. (I often feel like at least on twitter there is so much spamming of more or less useless stuff and a lot of people are only aiming at "notice me")

It makes me feel sick that they are encouraging others to try and find out his password etc. I can imagine he is freaking out too if it's true. Dan has been so happy lately I want him to remain this way for as long as possible.

Even if his password is online, they are still hacking him and it's illegal so I hope he gets the police involved as it's so easy to trace people these days.

they haven't guessed their passwords. all their logins would be random letter and alphabet combos that i'm sure they use a randomiser to change monthly. it's pretty basic web security.

tbh i don't really understand why people think deppy might like idb. just because we're a bunch of older fans who don't swoon, squeal and exchange memes, doesn't mean we're better than tumblr or twitter. we dissect their videos and analyze every small detail to determine what it might mean, we have pages on pages speculating about dan's relationship with his parents (something he wants to keep private, it appears), we keep tabs on their lies about sharing clothes/their mentions of attraction/other stuff, we have all kinds of #gates e.g. lubegate, busgate... if anything, i think they would be more turned off by older fans who spend their time thoroughly speculating about their relationship than by teenagers being themselves e.g. engaged in harmless shipping and making gifs of cute moments. yeah, we don't try & hack them or harass them on twitter, but we're still being kinda creepy here.

tldr; i really hope they don't lurk here, if you're reading this, dan, pls go away

Just a suggestion; in my opinion (not as a mod, just my personal opinion) if people want to discuss these "hackers" then it would be preferable not to post any links to pages or tweets because it just encourages them to carry on posting.

Off the back of the IDB survey we know we have a lot of lurkers, if links are posted then it just further spreads information around/draws more attention (which is what these people want). Not posting links/information would prevent attention towards these people, hopefully they'll get bored of trying to "hack" dan and just leave him alone.

Just my two cents.

If he does lurk here despite our age and how much we fangirl over the videos etc lbr they won't appreciate us. We're filled with pictures, avatars and references to deleted/taboo content that they tried hard to push under the rug. We tear apart and analyse every nanosecond of a video, every vowel and sound. Yes we criticise and often we have intelligent discussions but we are not an innocent forum - but we never intended it to be. We aren't the "Official Dan & Phil Forum" that's under scrutiny. We're a small gaggle of people that created their own community in a very large fandom, and whatever came with that. It just so happens that myself and a lot of other members are from the old glory days of the other place when a lot of historic moments happened, so we can't just ignore it either.

But for real, I think they try to avoid googling themselves and lurking in gossip forums/on gossip sites. Overall adored the video, adored cheeky sassy Phil, adored their relaxed touchy dynamic, adored the fact that Dan genuinely appreciated a Phil rec and didnt shit on the game but actually tried to enjoy it for his husband. anathema made a good point that we can't always boil the things these two do for "boyfriends"- i think it undermines the love they have for each other. They genuinely respect each other and try to work around each other and their affections and adoration isn't only ( ) because theyre dating but because their friendship also runs really deep. I dont think what they have can be defined by us, but all the demon phannies and antis can agree on that one fact that these boys genuinely love each other and as of now are the most important in each others lives.
