I really loved the video, it made me laugh out loud a few times. First of all the boys looked amazing, that sweater on Phil yes please???

They had such good energy, bounced off each other incredibly well, Dan seemed energetic and into it and Phil keeps delivering every single video, I don't know if it's the Christmas spirit or what but I'm here for that!

I like PJ a lot, I think he's sweet and snarky and hilarious, but he and Sophie kind of blended with the furniture, meaning that derpy and preppy focus way too much on each other, not only giving the best answers tbh but also joke around, share way too much space qnd tend to focus on the other's reaction whenever they deliver a joke. I thought it would be interesting to see them play with friends bc it could be a nice contrast to their dynamic but the more I see the more I realize they must be like that all the time. Which damn. Poor everyone.

A demon thought you can ignore: I usually love and im curious to "compare" the chemistry between people I "ship" to actual couples (things like "see they act the same as actual couples") but in this instance that didn't happen, meaning that dnp gave me the most couple vibes - I guess it helps they're used to interact on camera and also being close helps

I'm pretty sure the subscriber thing came from PJ, it sounds like something he would say and think Dan's reaction was genuinely uncomfortable to say that out loud on camera. Phil didn't seem offended though, I agree that he felt more insulted the with spoiled milk thing

It was a really fun video but I agree that PJ and Sophie didn't contribute much (or get the chance to, let's be real). But it's cute how excited Dan and Phil are with each other, like they never get bored of bantering. Maybe that's a bad t hing but no, I think it's lovely.

I thought it was a great video, but as usual other people in a collab with the two might as well be cardboard, I realize now. The two only really bounce off each other, doesn't matter how many people are there, everybody feels like a collective third-wheel.

This Is why I'd like to see them play the game with Tyler Oakley, because I think he could hold his own and has a lot of energy and isn't afraid of being loud. I don't have a fourth in mind, though. Anyone have any other youtuber you wish they would play with?

I think Anthony Padilla could also hold his own in a collab but it's probably unlikely cause of the distance
Also I think joe sugg and casper Lee should also play the game (w/ or without d and p) cause it'd be funny
Dan and Phil's anti-socialness really shines when we try to think of whom they'd like to collaborate with... but I read did love this one! they were all funny and I actually laughed out loud hard at multiple points during the video.

if you pause the thruth bombs vid at 06:13 you can see that the only answer for phil that's left blank for dan to write on is the isg-question.
so i guess he wrote the subscriber answer.

I've legitimately wondered about why Dan does this before and here you go putting all the puzzle pieces together!

overall, I liked the video and there were some genuinely funny bits that had me actually chuckling (and I mean, thank god, because I REALLY needed it today). However, I agree that it would have been nice to have the seating a bit mixed up since pj and sophie did seem to be accessories and it would have been nice for it to feel more like how they would actually play it, without being filmed and the pressure to be "on". Deppy just know each other so well and their whole dynamic is fascinating and can energetically take over because they are so in sync and I agree that makes it it hard for people to colab with them.

Also, the editing definitely deviated from how they usually edit gaming vids which I found interesting. Maybe they are afraid people might perceive a board game as boring so they need to jazz it up a little?

I know convo has moved on so sorry but since I didn't comment on the last few days videos, I have to say I'm so glad they've turned gamingmas around for me! Those first few days were discouraging but I've been more or less satisfied with everything since poptropica (was that even what it was called? I'm sorry I'm so tired plz send help)

One thing I wanted to bring up in regards to yesterdays hello neighbor with phil's comment about the furniture in the staircase looking like dan's room... what do you all think that was about? My initial thought was that dan had bought some furniture but I saw someone suggest that as moving proof somewhere was that on here oops can't remember Not sure if I believe that but I guess it would make sense to move somewhere rent free while they're on tour... since it didn't look like they'd be stopping home between tour locations and that swaggy apartment(s?) must not be cheap to rent. Seems like an awful waste of money if they're gonna be moving again in the near future - que all their mentions of it being a temporary home / joking about being evicted / "goodbye strange apartment" / etc.

Ok, I'm probs reading too much into that one little teensy comment and over-analyzing. He might have just meant dan's a slob and his room is a mess rn. Idk. Also sorry if this doesn't make the most sense or isn't articulated well, like I said I had a rough day and an literally falling asleep at my computer.

something about dan's impression of tiny phil saying "it me!!" at 15:31 is just so funny, i've watched that bit 20 times now. i genuinely think phil may be telling us something with all these microphilia mentions, lol

could also be bc it's nearly 4am here but i'm just laughing so hard at this whole video, thanks boys. editing feels weird for gaming, but familiar to something? i feel like we've seen this amount of silly effects and zooms before but i can't pin it to a specific type of video or era. maybe like a non-demonic version of the crafts videos??

(i do think pj and sophie are very awkwardly third wheeling, esp at the end during the self spon moment, but that still can't put a damper on this brilliance)

I cringed at the subscriber comment for a moment but Phil didn’t seem bothered at all, I think Dan was clearly the most uncomfy one. But like... Dan has 6.5 million subs, so what? Phil has 4.2. That’s 4.2 million people subscribed and that doesn’t change just because Dan has more. Maybe it’s just that the population of my entire country is 5.7 million or so, so 4 million people is a ridiculous amount of people to me and I’m kinda eh at that difference in numbers when we’re already talking millions anyway. Also I agree with what someone said about core fans. (I mean... “Ask Dan a question!” “Where’s Phil?!”)

I agree! I think at this point the difference in their amount of subscribers is mainly due to a difference in number of casual viewers? They brand themselves more as DanAndPhil instead of Daniel Howell and AmazingPhil, if that makes sense
