Long-time lurker here posting just to ask if anyone else noticed something about the new fursuit roleplay video in which they also bake. The biscuits they hold up at the end are clearly pre-made. You can tell because they just randomly pull them up from somewhere and they're not ones they were working on in the video. Also, in that little display footage, the creepy bunny's eyes are dripping because the icing hasn't dried yet, but the bunny faces are very much dry.

This makes me wonder if they practised the recipe beforehand or if someone else made the ones they're using at the end? I'm leaning towards someone else having made them, simply because the icing looks a lot neater than the ones they made (no 'decayed' teeth either) and the corners of the mouths are pointing up, unlike the one Dan was shown making. You can see the two other bunny faces they were working on at 13:59 and 14:13 and they don't look anywhere near as neat as the ones they pull up a few seconds later. It looks more like DnP are trying to copy the 'good' ones they already had.

I know this is such a random thing to wonder about and probably not really significant, but what do you guys think? And if someone else pre-made those biscuits, who do you think that could be? Is this something they've done with previous baking vids?

I've been here in varying capacities since 2012 and personally I have no memory of an April Fools liveshow (before this year, of course), but there's always the chance I'm blanking! It just doesn't ring a bell for me, and all I can think of are the pranks that hello9217 listed. And of course, the infamous "April Fools prank" of 2010. What a bloody hoot that was :')

I'm at least 237 years late to the party, but here are some probably unwanted opinions of the last few days' happenings:

Baking video - I liked it! Didn't love it, but I was entertained and I thought they were cute. I didn't get the vibe that it was edited by someone else, but I do agree that it did feel somewhat different to past baking videos. I think maybe a lot of that was down to their comparably less energetic moods, which is actually something I was glad about. Dan in particular was not anywhere near as overly hyper as he usually is in baking videos, and I genuinely enjoyed watching a more subdued Dan. I do think though that maybe part of why it felt a bit off to some people was that Phil was comparably more energetic, so maybe that felt weird?

Dan making a joke that implied Phil has a large dick felt super bold to me, and also the way Dan said 'it's nice" when complimenting Phil's outfit was really adorable

They definitely don't use that kitchen on a regular basis, given that the fridge was empty. It's interesting to me though that the drawers/cupboards seem stocked, unless they just gathered up baking utensils right before they filmed, or maybe they keep all the baking stuff in that kitchen because they never bake unless it's for a video. Still not sure whether it's two flats or one flat with a weird confusing layout and multiple kitchens, but I'm leaning toward the former.

Interesting points about how it was edited out of chronological order, and also that the finished products they showed weren't the ones they made. I think it's likely that a lot of their videos are edited that way, and we just don't notice because there isn't usually a clock in shot. Maybe they made a practise batch beforehand, which were neater? Who knows tbh, maybe Gordon Ramsay was just out of shot and he made them as an apology for roasting their meringues last year.

Also whoever pointed out the bi flag magnet on their fridge, I noticed that too! I kind of doubt it was actually a bi flag, and was probably just a metallic pinky-purpley-bluey magnet that was of something else and just happened to be in those colours, but let's just go with it tbh.

Pigeon fest - wow tbh. I didn't watch any of it because my attention span is non-existent and also I was asleep, but I support it tbh and I think it was pretty hilarious. Brilliant concept, and I applaud those of you who managed to watch the whole thing.

I am loving the boys and the phandom today. I missed the livestream, but I'm excited to go back and watch some of the highlights from Pigeon Fest. Also I find city noises very relaxing since I grew up in a big city. So I'll probably just end up replaying a lot of it to have as background noise to fall asleep to. I'm just now catching up to all the posts here on IDB and I'm having to try very hard to control my laughter as I'm at work (I've been mostly unsuccessful ) I'd like to make a special shout out to the phan joke. I didn't notice it at first and it took me by surprise (this may have been one of the time i failed at not laughing out loud)

Don’t worry I definitely noticed that too, but I more so thought that they just didn’t show the decorating of all of them. I mean they decorated like, maybe six biscuits, when I’m pretty sure a batch of that size would have made at least twice that amount.
But then, they do admit to forget putting sticks in them despite clearly showing them in the biscuits on another tray. This confuses me viewing it either way tbh, did they forget sticks in half the batch or did they think it was such a big fuck up they decided to redo it? Wow I’m taking this too seriously

Tho I must ask, how could people see the time??? I could only see the clock on the oven and that was far to small and blurry for me to read! Have my sight just gotten so much poorer or am I just awfully bad at searching?

Just a lot of squinting at the oven clock in the 1080p quality video. I have somewhat poor eyesight but it helps when a rare minute passes on the clock while dnp are on screen. Riveting stuff! Second only to binge watching invisible pigeons.

I thought they just made another batch of biscuits when they realised they’d forgotten the sticks. Weren’t half of them stickless when they were decorating at the end? Also they showed the tray of biscuits sitting exactly where they’d just decorated them after the fancy shot of the displayed ones in the bucket full of straw, I think. I loved the vase full of pastel eggs, that had been tucked away in the corner barely visible, but it looked lovely for that shot.

I was very amused by IDB, best website in existence, and Twitter updates of Pigeon Fest while I was out yesterday. I checked YouNow at one point and the overall viewer count had gone over 75,000. I can’t believe people still tipped them. The morse code was hilarious and Phil’s little crow at the end. Even though they weren’t in it, I guess they still had to keep an eye on everything and keep the bird feeders topped up so, er, joke’s still on them? Probably not.

Okay so it's been a long while since I last posted here let alone lurked, but it feels so good to be back (it also feels terrible because I know I'm going to get addicted to this forum again oops).

The thing that made me want to come back is this video I stumbled upon, which I would love opinions on. Do you think it's true? Why or why not? I'm dying of curiosity.



Also, do you think it's likely that they aren't together? I personally think it's close to impossible, but I would love to hear thoughts on this as well. It's been discussed before, I know, but does anyone have any new perspectives? Do you think they have girlfriends, or would we have spotted them somewhere?

Edit: I forgot to mention another thought: do you think Dan still supports Jeremy Cornyn after the anti-Semitism allegations? I'm not British (nor Jewish lol) and I'm just wondering as a politics junkie. Thoughts?
