Is anyone else curious why Phil didn't want to talk about them giving stuff to charity? He said something along the lines of "We've given so much stuff to charity this week because..no we wont talk about that." Is it cause he thinks it would be boring for the viewers to hear about? Or possibly he figures it would cause people to think they are moving soon. That's where my head went straight away lol. I don't know and I wanna Darn you Phil lol.

You know when I watched it live I could have sworn that he said "oh we'll talk about that later" and now I just re-watched that part to make sure and now I hear what you did. So who knows? Before they moved last time they did donate a lot of stuff to charity and also Phil was saying the apartment felt so small, which is also something they did last time before they moved. I think that if they do move though it won't be until next year though. But maybe dnp are just planting those seeds they love to plant.

Is there a timestamp for when he mentioned charity stuff? I haven't watched the show, but depending on how he said it, maybe it could have been a hint for an upcoming video... People like videos about people buying things, so maybe one or both of them did a video doing the opposite? Phil's new video: giving away all his shit before redecorating.

Or maybe it was a meaningless throwaway comment, who knows. I need them to get back to uploading separately so I can get a sense of who they even are again, I feel like I've got no clue after months of disconnect.

I got sucked into watching the liveshow again when I went to just watch the charity shop bit, and I'm not timestamping it (yet) but ugh the bit at 3:42 when Dan say "Yes... muscles... Captain America." while he's grinning watching Phil try to lift the plant pot. That's cute as fuck.

Phil was talking at the same time, but Dan mentioned his “June video”, which might be December or a 2027 video at this point. It’s obvious he poured cold water on whatever his original plans were for the next DINOF until it “feels right”... I’m still convinced that it’s suppose be the start of his next creative chapter and brand identity and that’s why he’s dragging ass. (My strong guess—in keeping up with the theme of #20gayteen—is Daniel 3.0: queer edition)

I’m hopeful that he at least didn’t tease it, because usually when he teases (or plays down expectations which always has the opposite effect) a vid it’s a set up for disappointment. I’d rather him Haru the subject until he’s actually ready to post.

That's so weird I when I watched it live, I heard "we'll talk about that later" but now I hear "I don't want to talk about that". The first thing I thought of was moving related. I remember Dan saying after tatinof that they had rented a storage unit for the cards/letters that people had given them which makes me think they aren't going to donate fan gifts. Plus I think they usually ask for people to not to bring gifts unless it's like a card/letter since it is easier to pack in a suitcase and move across borders.

can i just say, speculations aside, im positively hyped for whatever content theyre going to pump out in the near future. its been so long; gaming videos are nice, but i actually am craving for actual nutrients to feed my "phannie" soul. spooky week and christmas baking? hell yeah. new AP video? fantastic. pinof 10? im ready to fucking die on the floor.

also idk if this is relevant enough but i think??? i found the ice cream place they went for their impromptu date break time simply cz i wanted to find out what dan's ice cream possibly looked like before he devoured it...for....erm.....................reasons

They do mean that, particularly as Dan was talking about opening his wardrobe when the topic came up. (But purging things you don't want to pack up and take with you is part of moving and exactly what they did before they moved last time so like. sorry don't mind me just stoking conspiracy theory fires bc it makes life fun)

Don't have the timestamp rn but someone in the chat asked why dan didn't paint his nails on tour and he said that he couldn't do it himself cause he's shit at it and Phil exciedtly volunteered to paint Dan's nails and Dan replied that it was a bit disastrous last time Phil did it (which was the Young Minds liveshow) so you're not misremembering.

Ooh, moving theories again thanks to the charity-donating comment. I took it that they got home, saw how hadn’t needed while they were away and cleared out because of that. I’ve done it annually for years, only trouble now is all my parents’ extra stuff to try selling cos that takes more effort and annoying people haggling than just giving it. Drives me a bit nuts, there’s too much and the place is always messy. I’m curious what kind of stuff they decided they don’t need or want, any of the animal onesies, board games, just clothes..?

I wonder if they didn’t want to talk about it more because it sounded like bragging “look how good and charity-minded we are”, but if it’s due to moving again, probably to keep that quiet or just as hints for us to speculate on before they drop it on everyone. They don’t mind telling us about some of the free stuff they get, but could afford, that’s more annoying. Possibly why they don’t tell us about much or they just don’t think it’s always interesting, but maybe when they bring up the thing, they like to be honest and open about it being a gift?

Btw, I followed the Tumblr link to the floor plan diagrams and it’s empty according to Tumblr

Hank’s messages to them in his book were lovely, but I couldn’t believe they didn’t even mention or realise they were mirrored so all the text on the book cover was backwards.

A live show on younow instead of Rize. Yes! I hope that app flops hard, I don't know if Rize is just an example of bad programming or that all the spying it does actually makes it hog so much resources but I'm glad i never downloaded it and I hope they are more careful about any deals like that. The Dan and Phil audience got (unwittingly) used as guinea pigs.

It was a short show and they never really get into the more open, relaxed waffling mood I like to see when they stream together, but I picked up some info.
Phil is looking to resume uploads on his main channel, or at least he feels like he's in the 'amazingphil' space
Dan's main channel is looking really sad, and he doesn't seem to motivated/care much about making Dinof vids. Sad state of affair, I feel like we are losing Dan
The Dan and Phil games channel is looking like the only thing they feel a bit of animo for. The halloween week is looking likely.
It's going to be interesting to see if the tour changed anything. To early to say now imo, I think if they are having any major plans or quietly want to move into other directions, it's going to take a while to become clear. In a couple of months we might see the first effects of things they might be deciding now. I imagine they first want to wrap up the tour and tour film, then they will probs be busy doing the halloween stuff, pinof, and the christmas gaming vids and then they will probably hibernate at the end of year/start of the new year as usual. So I don't expect a lot of immediate change.

First I’m not sure why I thought the company was founded by Priscilla Chan, I guess all the jokes about Zuck owning their DNA (which yeah, you can share your results on FB, but you can also keep it private).

What is more interesting to me than Anne Wojcicki’s ex-husband, is that her sister, Susan, is the CEO of YouTube. Phil’s mom’s nurse friend my ass. It might not have been an official spon video, but I would bet lots of YouTubers were sent the test.

alos, okay, this summer i did the exact same thing and i was also surprised by the fact it's not her company! i'm pretty sure it was dan or phil who said that the company was owned by Priscilla Chan, (i guess because otherwise why would i remember that)

and going also a bit random here : there is this conspiracy that google want to have as much info as possible about us and use youtubers to urge us to do these tests as well. (for reference, i got this from one of Shane Dawson's conspiracy videos)
