I wanted to defend Phil because his explanation is correct. But you are also right that he was calm because his main channel will definitely not be flagged(despite all the innuendo). Youtube is targetting a specific group of content creators. Lucky for them, they are important to Youtube. Despite all the profanities of Dan, DINOF and DAPG will be unaffected.Catallena wrote:What will do you do when the merge is completed? please someone save phil before its too late
Anyway guys I'm just glad that YouTube withholding money from Creators, including ones who aren't top tier and don't cash in on the side but still rely on YouTube and that thing called free speech for at least part of their income, for months without notification and often unjustified considering all the approved appeals, isn't a big deal because two vloggers who don't do serious or controversial ever didn't get affected. Stellar. Before y'all come for my ass, I'm not saying that's what Phil thinks (though I did roll my eyes at him a bit) but many fans are immediately just like 'Phil says it's alright so just let's ignore every other red flag
' so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
The notification of Youtube is pure BS because the demonetizing has been going for months but Youtube just decided to inform the creators. Youtube is slowly killing the channels.
I don't get why channels discussing mental illness were demonetized as well.

Yeah, I actually meant that I can't for some reason remember the time and I don't have Phil's twitter on notifications (or Dan's for that matter) but I appreciate majitzu taking time to explain how the time difference works (I'm being sincere)Lurktacularr wrote:are you trolling?? I think they just meant they can never remember what time it is (unsurprising given lack of frequency recently)majitzu wrote:How you don't know what time it is? Is easy, every sunday at 7 pm uk.
Now check what time is in your country, go to google and write London Time. That's all, you now have the time difference, just do the conversion
Example:
France time 8 pm = London time 7 pm
There you go Sundays at 8pm on France, be careful of summer time tho (or whatever it is call, we don't have that here)
Dan wants to be understood. Phil just wants to make the viewer smile and sell some backpacks (c) fancybum

Uses for good...hmmm I'm not so sure about that. I mean he predicted "The Knight of Wands" and look what we have now.SquishPhan wrote:I bet he is salty about that.IckleMissMayhem wrote:Aww... Is someone a bit salty 'cos Kanye's still mostly thought of as a bit of a...

(I am just kidding. Promise. That's my favorite prophecy of Phil.)
This was kind of a good marketing strategy for the WWF, they get to raise awareness about Tigers a little bit this way. Phil really has inadvertently done something goodswofro wrote:I wish Phil can wish for me to be rich next. Anyhow, he got a reply.
Can someone confirm the number of viewers for the live show? I took a screen shot at 77k, but I'm pretty sure he broke 80k by the end. Now, I've been watching both of their live shows live (lol) for a few years, not every single one, but enough to estimate that Dan would average anywhere between 10-20k, Phil usually slightly less? And I remember thinking when they did a joint show last year and broke 20k that it was quite a lot.
Compared to that, Phil's number last night seems like such a big change?? Like that's such a huge amount of people watching you
Is it just that he hasn't done one in a while? Are more people watching it live because of the Younow changes? Some people have been mentioning their stagnating youtube subscriber numbers, but I don't think any other youtuber (at least in the same subscriber range) could pull off such numbers on a live show.

sorry buddy but I think it was a younow glitch, he only had 80K on the popular/trending bar but the actual viewers count on the page had 20-24k at the timeKuu wrote:Can someone confirm the number of viewers for the live show? I'd love to see Phil wish for tigers now
Well lol, that explains it! And you know what, I didn't bother to log in (was mostly listening) so I had that nice little sign up box there all the time covering the actual number Well don't need to think about that any longerLurkingTrash wrote: sorry buddy but I think it was a younow glitch, he only had 80K on the popular/trending bar but the actual viewers count on the page had 20-24k at the time
You just sent me on a "2009 Phan" tumblr odyssey that I was lucky to escape from. You need to be more careful just casually mentioning stuff like that...!Diyes_Celine wrote:Uses for good...hmmm I'm not so sure about that. This near broke me: (Ye be warned)
IckleMissMayhem's evil fic writing alter ego.
Uh yeah I think younow is just fucking around with their site. Maybe the trending is based on amount of likes now (although those numbers don't quite match either, but they're closer)? It's definitely not the amount of people watching though, Chris's show yesterday averaged around 1K viewers for the hour, and his Trending thing was up to 7K by the end. Phil averaged 20K for his hour:
Younow's just a mess

I thought the difference in YouNow numbers like that was just due to people logging in and out so the total can end up a lot higher than how many are watching at any one time, but thats just my guess.
Holy hell that stippled-beardy look
In a way it works, but also

I really hate is as well. This is not a look they should be aiming for imo.LurkingTrash wrote:I hate it. Oh. my. god.blueapple_x wrote:Lol what the hell. That caught me off guarddanphil333 wrote:i am scared :wtf: :wtf:
There's no way there would be a +50K difference though. The numbers on the side used to just be the viewing numbers, so I think younow is just switching things up (for no discernible reason) in how they rank the broadcasters.flarequake wrote:I thought the difference in YouNow numbers like that was just due to people logging in and out so the total can end up a lot higher than how many are watching at any one time, but thats just my guess.
And is that picture a snapchat filter? Are they doing that for a video or are they just really bored? I like Dan's hair though.
